I am a 71 year old widow, who moved here from Illinois, and didn’t know any of the businesses here. Mr. Jones has been rude and arrogant every-time I have talked with him. He has worked on my transmission twice charging over $3,400 In a 3 yrs period.First time my transmission went out was in Dec. 2019, my brother in law spoke with Karl Jones about my transmission and he said to bring it in he would fix it. He had some health issues, and my car was there till March 2020.. when I got my vehicle back it cost $2556.00 and Mr. Jones had put the ticket in my brother in laws name, but knew I owned it because my brother in law told him. The bill was paid by my brother in law and sister, and I paid them back. But Jones is always saying I didn’t pay for it. Why this is his business I don’t understand, he GOT PAID , and I took vehicle back before year warranty was up and he said everything was fine. Then April 2022 trans. Went out again! Karl Jones then had it towed back to him. He said a part he put in 2020 was defective and had broke. Charged me $885.00 more, even though he used a defective part ,which was not my fault. Now here we are the end of January 2023 and transmission is out again . If he can’t fix it then he should give the money back so I can take it somewhere that can fix it. He is a very poor businessman and not considerate or trustworthy!!! God sees all and hears all, may he reap what he sows!!Service: Transmission

I called Karl after he was referred to me by the guys over at Express Oil Change after I made an online appointment with them to get my transmission flushed (a service they could not, in fact, provide, despite the Internet leading me astray).Karl was polite and extremely knowledgeable just over the phone. He asked questions about the car, the problems I was having, and said that before he went ahead and flushed *anything*, he wanted to take the car in and run some diagnostics, find out if that was indeed what was needed. He worked with my schedule to get me an appointment, and was patient with my overanxious phone calls leading up to it.In person, Karl was an amazing fellow. Friendly, personable, approachable, and as on the phone - PATIENT. He held my car overnight, and I got a call from him the following morning.He explained the causes of the issues I was having with the car, and continued to share that while he COULD replace some parts, it wouldn’t actually change the performance of the vehicle. He assured me that it was safe to drive, and gave me his professional recommendations for the future.And then he didn’t charge me a cent.It was so reassuring to deal with someone in this business who didn’t see dollar signs the moment I, a female, walked into the shop! I will be returning for any of my future engine needs and will heartily recommend anyone to Karl Jones for his services.Services: Brakes

All I can say is that this company does not communicate with their customer. Iconstantly have to call to find out about my vehicle. The owner isn't a nice person was very rude on the phone. I really wanted to take my car somewhere else but the towing fee was very high and I couldn't move my car. The only time I received a call when it was time to pay. Heads up if you using your card you will be charged a 3% card fee didn't know that till I walked in. If I had a known I would not have taken my car there. I have gotten to the point where I don't trust mechanics anymore they will rip you off. Another auto mechanic recommended me to him he will be getting a call very soon

Karl Jones Trans worked on my '95 truck and got it diagnosed and fixed in 1 week, after it had been at another shop for 2 weeks straight with no sign of diagnosis. They were helpful with explaining what they thought it could be, how they'd check it and giving me updates along the way.
