“My car was ready at the set time, clean, fueled, and had only 5000 miles on it. As a Fastbreak (Budget Rewards program) member, I was a bit surprised that I had to provide my ID for scanning, initial the contract 7 times and sign the contract. Other car rental companies make renting a lot more convenient for their rewards members.In general notes: This rental place does not have a drop box and when you miss closing time, you have to use the budget at the airport, or return at 8 am the next day. Not filling up is charged at $8.99/ gallon. Leaving your car at the rental cost $9 per day.Return was easy.”
“The staff was very engaging during my pick-up. They provided me with the pros and cons regarding additional coverage and the expectation of the agreement. I must add that this location does not have a drop box and it is closed on the weekend. I was extremely grateful the young man who arrived 30 minutes before opening allowed me to turn in my keys before 8 am so that I could get to work. That is the only reason this rating is not 5 stars.”
“I left another location because the employees did not seem too excited to be there and never asked if they could help me. As soon as I walked in the Pelham location Drew had several people in line but immediately acknowledged me and told me he would be with me shortly. He was extremely courteous, efficient and helpful. He was quick but thorough with all before me and myself included. When I returned the vehicle Sarah was quick to help and appeared o genuinely enjoy her job. There is a huge difference in attitudes in Pelham versus Hoover. Thank you Drew and Sarah for being so helpful and kind. I wish you could train the employees at Old. Olimbiana Road location!”
