“At Johns Catholic Church, of ozark. Is a beautiful older church. Their priest, says very holy masses. The church looks like an old church, that you would see nestled in the woods. Definitely, a church you must see.”

“Ozark First Baptist Church is located in south-central Ozark, Alabama. It is located in the northwest corner of the intersection of West College Street and South Union Avenue and consists of two connected building parts. The actual church is oriented in an east-west direction and has six Corinthian columns in its entrance area, which characterize the neoclassical architectural style. To the north there is also a chapel with a multi-purpose hall. The community was founded on August 23, 1848 and initially had a different place of worship. This was renamed several times before the current church was built in 1955 to accommodate the rapidly growing parish. The addition with a chapel was not completed until 1988.A nice photo opportunity, although of course there are nicer churches.”
