I’ve recently experienced a great deal of trouble with a phone resulting in several trips trying to resolve the problem. (Eventually resulted in Verizon replacing it under warranty free of charge.) David, Eddie, and Cameron went above and beyond trying to help me with this issue on 3 different visits. They were all kind, patient, and persistent in their efforts, and it was greatly appreciated.

Visited store site 11/3/22 for help in setting up autopay. Personnel went out of their way to assist. Spent time to make sure account was set up correctly and verified that system was working properly. Would recommend this site highly for courteous and accurate workforce.

There is constant pressure to do unethical sales. Pitch customers plans and services that they do not need. They enforce a $25 dollar fee to transfer data from your old to new phone which a 8 year old kid can do. I was reprimanded for not trying to push a disabled veteran to buy a samsung Z fold 4 phone from us when he was already stating that he was buying one from the Samsung website with a military discount for $514 dollars. Our in store cost was $1800. You are paid more to sell customers cheap Android phones that quality name brand phone AND expected to do so while pitching them on every sale. The work atmosphere is very unprofessional. When I went to my training class in Birmingham, AL, my trainers Allison Walls and Stacy Allison used profanity endlessly and belittled people with incorrect answers with Sarcasm. My trainer Adam Irby may be a top performer, but those people rarely have the patience and ability to teach others. Of course, he had neither. Never TAUGHT me anything, just click here, click here, and click here. That's how he expected me to learn what I was doing. I had to literally tell him how to teach me the 2nd week. Overall, it was a terrible experience and not a company you want to work for if you have integrity and are a true proficient professional at sales. Take your talents somewhere else. One last thing, they try to tell you that you are going to make good money in the 60k up range. Every rep in my store that I talked to made around 40k. So, do not believe the lies. Know your worth and give your time to ANY other company.

David did more than explain beneficial products and services, smiled, and repeated countless times with no problem till I learned or understood. You can’t teach the qualities he possesses and am so happy he works at the Verizon store I use! Your rock David!

having difficulty getting an update on the phone i ordered on 3-2. i was told i would receive within 2 bus days. and then i was told tracking stated it would arrive on 3-8. our sales rep is off the next 2 days and no one else can even look up the tracking it appears. i asked for a mgr and was refused by the rude female that i spoke to. i need a manager. the employee i just spoke with said i could google to find out who was the manager. horrible service. my sales rep alma was wonderful but this person no.

Caveat emptor is a Latin term that means "let the buyer beware. Learned an expensive lesson. Know the difference in a Verizon owned store and and authorized retailer. They won’t tell you they are a authorized retailer upfront, and you will think you are in a Verizon store based on the sign. The Hampton Cove store is an an authorized retailer. The cost of the phone is higher than it is online, roughly $11 extra. They will charge you a device setup fee ($25), but won’t volunteer that information upfront. This is in addition to the $35 activation fee Verizon will charge you on their first bill. We should have observed the first red flag when they didn’t understand the use of the Verizon credit card dollars used towards the purchase, until completing the transaction. Second red flag, they told us we didn’t have to unpair our watch from our old phone. That caused us to have to reset our watches later when trying to pair the watch to the new phone and losing some data. We are still having a couple of issues, but they may be Apple phone issues. Will know better once we figure them out. Lesson learned, we will buy the phones online next time, save the nearly $75 and avoid set up issues.

If I could give this 0 stars I would. I have never had a worse experience at a retail store than I did last week. We were completely mislead about a promotion that was going on, went forward with a purchase and then they reneged on part of the promotion 6 days after. A total lack of transparency and complete misrepresentation of the promotion and sale. The manager was rude and condescending when I spoke to him after the fact, it was made out like it was all my fault and that the sales person simply "mispoke". When I preceded to ask for a Regional or District Manager to talk to about my experience he would not give any info to me. We have been customers with Verizon for over 15 years and have bought multiple phones at this location since it opened a few years ago, and am at a total disbelief that they would let a valued and loyal client be treated that way. I will never visit this location again and advise people not to. I am not the type of person to leave reviews and complain but I want to warn other consumers to not fall for the fake and misrepresented "promotions" that are not true.
