We were long-time patients here but decided to move on after a bad experience with a rude receptionist. I called to make an appointment for my cat, and she said I could drop him off. When I said I'd prefer to stay with him, she rudely told me to go to a different vet. I took her advice, and we have been quite happy at Hampton Cove Animal Hospital ever since.

Dr. Lamb and her sweet staff are angels sent from heaven! They truly treat their patients as their own and are so kind, honest and accommodating. My husband and I are forever grateful that we have the honor of taking our elderly pup to the best vet in the world. She has gone to great measures to ensure our pup lives the longest, healthiest life possible. Thank you Dr. Lamb and Natalie for all that you have done! We are so grateful for you!!

It's always a dramatic entrance trying to get my dogs (and kids) into the vet, but Dr. Lamb and her staff are always kindhearted and well humored. They always take the best care of my fur babies and we super appreciate all of their help ❤️

Dr. Lamb is a great vet, gives great care to her animal patients, price conscious to her patients parents, won't try to upsell you on stuff that your pet may not need, and her staff is always accommodating. I highly recommend Complete Care Animal Hospital.

I called and told, who I thought was a nice lady who answered the phone, that I basically just got stuck with 2 puppies due to a a death in the the family and needed shots, before I could even say another word she said "NO, NO, we're not taking on any new patients, try Dr.Mann M-A-N-N" & before I could even ask for another vets name or even Mann's phone number she muttered something insulting/incoherent (I'm not going to guess but with her tone and attitude it was far from pleasant!) So don't bother calling them you aren't worth their time!!!

Puzzled, at least. I personally did not get the enjoyment of having an in person experience with Dr. Lamb or the hospital staff. I called for a price estimate for my Berner pup's vaccines and general checkup. Whomever answered whose name I believe starts with a J was fantastic, very kind and well spoken. Quick to answer all questions I had and effectively giving me the information I had initially called about.Unfortunately when I mentioned that I was looking for a veterinarian for a potential future litter services, things changed. The receptionist informed me that Dr. Lamb was not taking any breeders at this time. That's understandable and was no issue to me whatsoever, I don't expect a litter for another two years regardless. I hung up and then thought well maybe they can just see my little Berner pup Mable now. Getting her an appointment was my initial goal anyways.I called again, asking to see if we could still schedule an individual appointment for my little girl. This is where my disappointment lies, I was told that she would not see Mable (denied a visit) and for what?Who knows but it was disheartening after reading all the great reviews and experiences of fellow animal lovers. Thanks again to the receptionist who remained incredibly kind!

Complete care is only good for vaccinations and to buy heart worm meds. They don't allow you to go in the back with your pet, so you really don't know if the service you're paying for is being done. Took my sick cat to them and they missed that he had a broken tooth which caused him to stop eating. By the time it was found (by us, not them) , and was removed, it was too late. Sepsis had set in. When he was dying, we called to see if we could bring him in to have him put to sleep 30 min before closing. Nope. Told us to go to 24 hr care. Would the broken tooth have been found if I had been able to be there during the initial examination? Maybe. I don't even know if they looked at his teeth because I wasn't allowed to be in the room! We got another cat, he got sick, we took him in, they didn't know what was wrong. Told us to go to 24 hr clinic. When blood work was done, he was very jaundiced, we called them to see him the next day. They said they couldn't because their vet tech was out. So we took him to Valley Clinic. They diagnosed him with FIP. Valley asked for his records from Complete Care. We are doing treatments that are in the clinical stage to try to save our baby. A few days later we got a letter stating they dropped us as patients. This is terrible business practice and very immature. I just don't think they are qualified to do serious medical treatments. It's sad too, because their staff has always been very polite and gracious. Would anyone allow their non speaking child to be seen by a Dr without your presence? no. Then why would it be ok to do it to our fur babies?
