I had no idea that this place even existed. It is a great place to take your kids or just to explore and relax. I personally liked the fishing pier. And they had rest rooms which made it even more accommodating.

Great park for kids to play while taking a break from the sand. The dozen times I’ve been over the last few years, water fountain outside the gate has never been on, so that’s a downside, and parking can be tough if there’s other events in the area. Would live if there were lights as it gets dark early after daylight savings.

What a great park! The boys and I went to find a playground and scout out fishing spots. This place has both, as well as two sets of bathrooms to use and multiple picnic shelters. The playground area is fenced in, and the equipment is relatively new. They have the soft rubber floor, which is great when you have kids that fall a lot. There is a massive pier to fish on, and there are cutting boards to clean your fish. I'm not sure what species of fish to expect here, I will say I saw evidence of fairly large fish. Will update after we fish it.

This is one of the most beautiful parks I've been to. The water helps with the views, especially if you like to take photos like I do. There's a pier for fishing, or just to go sit out on and listen to the water. There's bathrooms by the playground area as well as beside the pier. It's a must see if you have never been. I know I'll be spending alot of time here in the future.

They have completely rebuilt it since we were here last. It is better than ever. It's a great place to bring the family for a picnic, fishing or just sitting around and watching the boats go by. A very beautiful place.

We visited during the week but the park/playground was super packed. We noticed the pier so we checked it out. The water was way to shallow to really fish. We tried. Unfortunately there was a few guys who showed up and started smoking a joint, so we left immediately. It is a very nice and new pier.

Wonderful little park, with a great fishing pier. It’s off the beaten path, but still really close enough to the beach and all the other places in the area.

Best playground that I have ever seen. The gate took me a minute to figure out. Have never seen this type of latch on a gate before. You have to push on the top right corner to enter. Grand daughter 15 month old had a great time.

Beautiful area, people do not get too wild. Lots of families with small children, teens, and retirees.

We went to this park in March of 2023. It was cool out but nice. We had our Boston Terrier with us, and this is where we could take him to play in the sand and stretch his legs. It wasn't busy and the walk on the pier was nice. It had clean restrooms and was well maintained. It was a nice walk.Dog-friendliness: This place is dog friendly, and there is a place they can play in the sand by the water.
