Stopped in here to see if they had poles to rent, unfortunately they do not, but Michael and Brent were extremely helpful to us tourists.
Michael went above and beyond helping my son rig up his pole to get it ready to fish. He offered suggestions with things to do and places to eat in the area. Highly recommend!

They didn't have anywhere you could get a cup of ice, just the 20lb bags. But the store was nice.

Guy working there said they had no live bait. Told me hooked up and tackle store by Rouses ( cant remember name) didn’t have any live bait either. Said I had to get there at 6am or they’d run out .. couldn’t shop without the guy constantly following us around like we were gonna take something. We left, called both tackle shops and both said they had plenty of live bait. We bought a bunch of tackle from the shop by Rouses. They were very nice and unintimidating. I’m a rod builder and also work at a tackle shop. I won’t be sending people to j an m anymore.

The workers here were helpful each day and they had the best live bait we could find. We stopped here 4 different days early in the morning for live shrimp. We had maybe two that died prematurely out of all 8 dozen. They know what they are doing as far as keeping the shrimp stable for bait before you get it. We stopped somewhere else and they were all dead before we got to our fishing spot. I will always stop here for bait from now on. Awesome people and we had a good time stopping by each time. We caught some really good fish out of the canal, and they helped us create some good memories.

Best Tackle shop! I've done business with them since they originally opened. John and Mike (and their employees) have always stopped what they were doing and/or Gone out of their way to help with something!!
