Descent place to stay. Nice and friendly staff. But if your holding an event there be advised that the food you leave on the banquet table will be packaged and resold in the grad and go case in the hotel. Totally unsanitary and illegal

Wonderful staff. Nice, clean rooms. Balconies in the gulf are great! Great location. Nice pool/patio area. Rooms are decent, but definitely don't stay in an adjoining room... you will hear everything.

The view from Room 907 was incredible, but every room in this hotel has a great view. We visited in off season (January) so no crowds, no blistering sun, just highs in the 60's and plenty of room to roam. Easy beach access, good food available until 10:00 p.m. in the hotel & across the street, excellent service from ALL the staff (from housekeeping to front desk to restaurant), not to mention "to die for" cookies!Walkability: It is within easy walking distance of plenty of restaurants, shops, donuts, candy, ice cream,& drinks.

It was a beautiful view, however, we had issues with both rooms we stayed in. The first night the a/c unit rattled every time it came on and woke my husband up so he didn't get a good night's sleep. The wand to open and close the curtains was broken and the door didn't shut all the way on its own. When we told the front desk person, she was super nice about it and moved us to the room next door and had the maintenance person come and look at it once we moved out. The room next door was better but the shower didn't stay closed very well and it was out of shampoo. I was also disappointed when they ran out of gluten free cookies at the beginning of our trip so I was unable to get a cookie every day. I will say that the omelette in the restaurant inside was amazing and the waitress was really nice.

Spent our first night of honeymoon at Island House. Absolutely lovely. Good breakfast too.

Very nice hotel on the Gulf of Mexico with all the rooms having views! Food and drinks were good at the restaurant/bar. Front desk staff was friendly. The pool was nice and only a few steps to the beach! The bartender, Chris, was awesome and made my stay very enjoyable. I ended up with an automatic upgrade for being a Hilton Gold member and enjoyed my upper floor corner room a lot! I will definitely return to this hotel!

Great view of the beach. Rooms were clean, but very dated. Looks like a senior citizen home in the lobby. The bar area looks like a cafeteria. Food options are horrible. There wasn't any internet for my stay. I expected more from Hilton. I have no idea how they are considered a 4 star hotel. Wouldn't ever recommend.

What a great place to stay! Very clean, friendly service, and of course the location is awesome since it’s right on the beach! We had a corner room which was incredible for the price. Very spacious, the view was amazing, and did I mention clean?!?! We ate breakfast at the in-house restaurant, and it was very good. I had the veggie omelet (balsamic mushrooms, spinach, tomato, feta - yum!) and my husband had their shrimp with grits which had a luscious champagne sauce on top. We stayed only one night since we were just passing through, so we didn’t get to enjoy many of the amenities (like the pool). But we definitely enjoyed a morning walk on the beach before we left. We will be back!

I'm not typically one to leave reviews- I either leave one when I've had an unbelievably terrible (or) amazing experience.I'm in medical sales so I travel across the entire Southeast staying in multiple hotels every week, so I've stayed in everything from the Motel 6 to the Ritz-Carlton.This was my 2nd time staying at Island House Orange Beach- and both times have been absolutely phenomenal in every way. The first time I was upgraded to a penthouse suite at no additional charge due to availability- this time I stayed for a few days for work but also a little getaway.The front desk, restaurant and bar staff are all super positive and energetic and went above and beyond to help me with anything I needed.The place is immaculately clean- I dare you to find a spec of dust in the place.Also, they are pet friendly so I was able to bring my dogs!The food was unreal. So many great restaurants down at the beach, but the downstairs Island Bistro beat them all in terms of food taste and pricing.The entire property is great- from the landscaping to the beach access, everything is extremely well kept and aesthetically pleasing. The pool was also nice.The little things go a long way for people like me- and this place knocked them all out of the park. This will be my go-to for a resort experience at a hotel price!I highly recommend Island House Orange Beach.Rooms: Spacious and well equipped- also pet friendlySafety: Quiet, well-lit property with on-site securityFood & drinks: Amazing and great price

First time at Orange Beach, the beds were amazing as well as the service. They were having a wedding there so it was a bit crowded. I drove from Dauphin Island where it was a miserable week, I needed a few days so went here.

Amazing customer service, great location, great view, clean, no surprise fees, and the customer service! Yes, I said it twice. People here are so nice and professional. Only complaint I had with my room, was that some of the plugs were not working for charging. Overall, 10/10 recommend. Shout out to Jay at the front desk.Nearby activities: Flora-bama and all kind of eateries are within 5-10 mins away. Beach is walking distance. Zoo is 15 mins away. My work conference was across the street.
