Stayed here for work three or four times. Consistently clean and friendly staff with good breakfast. It’s nice to be able to walk to stores here. Only disappointment is that I’ve never seen an alligator or snake off the back patio in the lake (signs warn they are there). The soft shell turtles are cute though.

I love this place and the staff are great. I gave four out of five stars for service only because they practice this make-up-your-room every other day policy and change towels and sheets every third day. BUT if you ask, they will change it daily. Lindsay is the head of housekeeping and she is an absolute legend.
Outside of that, the rooms are great for the price. The complimentary breakfast is decent. Stuff does run out quickly and they do refill it constantly but they do get behind so sometimes you have to wait, but for a complimentary breakfast it's a good breakfast regardless. And the breakfast staff are very kind and super helpful if you need any help.
I love that the coffee bar/counter stays open all day and is constantly refilled so you can always grab a fresh cup of coffee or citrus-infused water.
It's located within walking distance of the beach and you get a key code to enter the private beach in front of the high rises that line the beachfront here.
I have very few complaints. If you're in this area, definitely book a room here. You won't be disappointed!
Don't miss the opportunity to check out Breakfast Bob outside near the breakfast area next to the pool. I'll include a photo of him! He's really hungry... But you're not supposed to feed him...

Lighting in the room is not sufficient, water in shower never gets better than lukewarm, shower door won’t stay closed, and wash station by the pool did not work. However, these are small issues and the overall experience was good.

What a beautiful hotel! The rooms are HUGE!... perfect for us. We were escapees from our Disneyworld trip during Hurricane Milton. Two adults and 3 kids (13, 13 and 11). We didn't want our vacation to be wasted so we started looking for hotels by the beach on our way back to our home in Louisiana. That's when my daughter found Fairfield Inn and Suites in Orange Beach, Alabama. It's within walking distance of the most beautiful beach with private access (so it was not crowded). The waves were amazing due to the hurricane. The kids had a BLAST! We struggled to get them to finally leave. Within walking distance of our hotel is a Neighborhood Walmart, and little store (Al's something or another) that carries just about everything you would need, two ice cream shops, a mexican restaurant (which is where we ate)... and everything you need right there. The hotel offered the MOST AMAZING complimentary breakfast... eggs, sausage, waffles (you make yourself), bagels, cereal, toast... I mean EVERYTHING. It was amazing. The hotel has a spa and pool... and right off the back deck, is a lake or pond... with huge turtles.... and alligators. We loved our stay SO MUCH... we asked to extend another night and they accommodated. Our disney trip was cut short... but our vacation ended on a wonderful note staying at Fairfield Inn & Suites Orange Beach! We will be back!
Rooms: HUGE!... Comfortable! Clean! VERY IMPRESSED! The only thing missing was maybe some USB connections. Other than that... PERFECT!
Nearby activities: Private beach access, Neighborhood Walmart, Al's (can't remember full name but it carries everything you think you might need), restaurants within walking distance... etc.
Safety: Nice area... so we didn't feel uneasy ever.
Walkability: EVERYTHING is in walking distance that you would need.
Food and drinks: Their comp breakfast was wonderful. Every breakfast food you can imagine was served. This wasn't just a fruit and cereal breakfast. They pull out all the stops!

I was having my house interior painted and booked a room at this hotel last minute, so I wouldn’t be breathing paint fumes lol. I was kind of bummed out about it, but that all changed when I was greeted by Brian the GM. He was so upbeat and helpful.
In fact, he was so accommodating and such good vibes that I ended up staying several nights instead of booking another hotel, as I had planned.
The breakfast was better than most restaurants!
The entire place is spotless and neat and tidy.
My room had a little mini living room. A fridge. Microwave. And two TVs. Tons of movies playing.
There’s beach access across the street. A beautiful pool overlooking a pond with turtles swimming around the pond!
I had a lovely stay and can’t thank Brian and his staff enough for turning an inconvenience into a relaxing mini vacay by the beach.

An impromptu visit due to Helene. The staff is who made this trip. The first front desk person was not friendly but I never saw her again and the rest of the staff was fantastically friendly and helpful. Shout out to Jody, Lindsay and I think her name was Penelope for being so kind. This isn’t a luxury hotel but adequate and the beach access and ability to walk to many stores makes it super convenient. The sunsets over the canal were beautiful and it was fun watching the turtles swim around. Even saw an alligator one day.

We evacuated due to Helene & the staff here was fabulous! The hotel was great as well, comfy beds, good size bathroom/showers, quick elevators, easy parking. Staff was so kind & did a wonderful job handling all the people unexpectedly coming in. We alone had 3 rooms & not one issue at all. We would absolutely recommend this hotel. They went above & beyond for evacuee's…THANK YOU!

I'd give this place zero stars if given the opportunity. Where to begin...
My family and I checked in yesterday night and asked for 2 nights. The dude at the desk said that was good and booked us for 2 nights, so we thought. We were never given a receipt nor took my Bonvoy account #. He said that the account # wasn't needed and wouldn't give me a discount.
The next day, we received a call from the front desk at 8:30 PM asking us to leave. We told the lady at the front desk that we were there for 2 nights. They couldn't move us to another room due to being sold out. We asked for a receipt, which stated we 'checked out' at 10:36am. This is impossible as we were not at the front desk at that time. We would like you to check your security cameras to actually verify our check out time at 10:36am. Photo id will be provided upon request. No accommodations were made for their error and as a result we had to find another hotel room.
How can you possibly book someone in a room that wasn't cleaned?! And how can you falsely check someone out of their room?!?
The only thing good about this place is the lake view in the back.
