There was a huge storm last night. My computer got fried. They came on a Saturday and replaced the broken part . One hour of labor! Terrific company. Very impressed. Will use them again

Great company to deal with. Final price came in at 25% below original estimate. Their service technician took time before and after service to explain in detail what they were going to do and what was done. I highly recommend this company.

Honest, thorough and prompt!Dropped off my laptop this afternoon and they called with an update and plan of action rather quickly. Unfortunately, my laptop was shorting out all over, but they checked into my warranty (luckily still had 2 months ?) and gave me all the information/details for the warranty process. They absolutely could have skipped right over the warranty steps and charged me a ton to basically rebuild/replace it, but thankfully, they gave me an honest solution. Super thankful for my experience at Computer Backup Inc.

Computer Backup in Orange Beach is the only place you need for your computer issues! They provided the best service, keeping me updated along the way, and offered options and alternative solutions to keep my current equipment running and to help me get exactly what I needed. This review is long overdue, but over the summer, my husband and I were in town on vacation and he forgot a cable needed for his desktop computer. A gentleman named Gerald was extremely helpful and knew exactly what cable he needed and gave us an incredible deal. If you need any computer repair/assistance in the area, this is your place!

Recently had laptop disk failure. Set up on site visit and their technician hooked up my backup computer and loaded it so I did not miss any work: very professional and efficient. Happy this level of expertise is available locally and reasonably priced. Been dealing with Computer Backup for many years now and they get the job done and in a timely manner. Very pleased. Their owner personally stands behind their work.

Sent a couple devices in that needed some pretty basic fixes that i didnt feel like doing.A windows laptop that needed new thermal paste and a fan cleanAnd an android tablet that needed a new OS flashed and replacement display.They took ~$100+ for each item and literally did nothing but take a heat gun to the top of the laptop for 2 weeks. Took me a day to fix both of them my self.

Can not say enough great things about the service we received here. We were on a family vacation and having difficulties with our computer software. Response to Smythsonian. This individual brought us a laptop with a non -Lenovo third party screen on a laptop that would not start. We installed the screen and arranged for a Lenovo technician to replace the motherboard for him at our facility. The motherboard was replaced under warranty from Lenovo at no charge. We found that the screen supplied to us by this individual was faulty, and arranged for the Lenovo technician to come back and replace the screen with an actual Lenovo screen - also under warranty. As stated by this individual, we advised him of the days and approximate times the Lenovo technician would arrive. We cannot be specific because we have no control over the technician's schedule or the availability of warranty parts. However, this individual, as stated, was grateful for the work we did and the timely manner of the warranty work. Attempts were indeed made to contact him when the Lenovo technician arrived to replace the screen but we could not reach him. We obviously would not have a technician wait here for an hour and a half without attempting to contact the customer. I attempted to reach out to Smythsonian about the issue - which can still be resolved - but was hung up on. I believe his review is completely unfair and not at all representative of the events that actually occurred.

I don't trust them. These people did not deliver on their promise and finish the job.I came to them a few weeks ago to replace a broken screen on my laptop by installing a third-party replacement screen that I had purchased on my own. When they looked at the computer they said that the computer wouldn't turn on and that they would call up Lenovo to bring a technician along to do the required work that was needed and also to install an official Lenovo screen (after noticing that the screen I brought had grey lines covering the picture). Though I was grateful that they installed the screen that I had purchased on my own, and got my computer working again, they did not effectively plan the time to which my Lenovo screen replacement would be installed. They continued to use "approximations" and "seeing what happens," but when they called the following Monday (out of nowhere) I was in the middle of an important matter, and could not come. They simply told me that the work would be done two days out (on Wednesday), and they did not give me a specific time for which to appear. Therefore, I assumed this meant they were going to call me when the Lenovo technician would arrive, just as they had done that very day.When Wednesday came, I waited all day for them to call and got nothing. After three days went by and still got no call, I called up to CP to ask when I would get my screen replaced. They said the technician was there on Wednesday, and that he was there for an hour and a half. After that, he gave up on my case. Brian nonchalantly LIED to me, saying that I was informed that I was supposed to get service at 2 on Wednesday (I wasn't). Again, I did NOT get a specific time for my service. Why didn't they call during the HOUR AND A HALF the technician was there? This makes me think that they really did not care, since they were not getting paid for the warranty service, so they just wrote me off.I don't trust them. Period.
