Dr. Julie has taken care of our cocker spaniel since 2011 when we moved to OBA. She is extraordinary. Absolutely amazing and awesome. Her staff is incredible. They love our fur babies and it shows the second you walk through the door.
I can’t thank them enough for keeping my baby healthy!

Dr. Taylor and her staff are one of a kind! I have been taking my animals to Canal Road for years. Over the weekend my 12 year old dog was having some issues. They were able to get him in ASAP and ran bloodwork, urinalysis and took X-rays. Dr. Taylor called me to update me after she had examined him and took time to talk to me personally when he was ready to be discharged. Definitely would recommend Dr Taylor to anyone and everyone!

A negative rating would be most appropriateI I had read in another review that they won't allow you back in the exam room with your fur babies. This is true!! They would rather tie a noose around your dog and choke them while they drag them back to what must be some type of type of torture chamber. There is definitely something wrong with this place. I have been disrespected by both Dr. Julie and especially Dr. Taylor. The condescending attitudes from both of these so called doctors is ridiculous. If you want to traumatizeyou're animals, then this is the vet for you. We will be taking our business elsewhere. I highly recommend finding a different vet, if your considering this one. Dr. Taylor should find another line of work that does not require compassion, caring, or gratitude. If you love your fur babies seek out a vet that actually is caring and compassionate.

The doctor and staff were rude and condescending. I hate this place. Waste of time. There is no way I would allow them to touch my dog. They take the animals to the back and won't do exams in the room with you. My dog needed help and we had to walk out and leave. There is something wrong with this place.

I have been bringing my fur babies to Julie Taylor and her team for 5 years now. If you are like me- you love your pets like they are family. Over the years I have had multiple pet emergencies, and this team has delivered excellent service every time. The first time my senior yorkie couldn't walk due to a disk injury in his back. They got him in immediately and used the least invasive treatment to get him better. Just recently I had to take the same senior pup to the emergency vet over the holiday weekend. He did improve with his overnight stay but he was still having issues. Once Canal road opened back up I called and spoke to a highly competent young woman. She was able to get him just the right meds to fix my guy right up. This team takes caring for your pets seriously. I would highly recommend!

I discovered that my cat's paw was swollen. However, it was not puffed up, but it was wide as 2 paws. Right away I went to my friend and neighbor's. I asked her what is gojng on. She believed perhaps it was a snake bite. (She has gone to Dr Julie a long time for her dog Lucy, now her cat Rocket). She called and explained the condition of the paw. She was told perhaps a snake bite. And to bring her in right away. Since I hadn't the need to go to a vet, moving here recently .So we rushed to her office, as I sat in back seat, holding my baby kitten.I was so relieved she was still open and took her rught away. She stayed overnight, and was given antibiotics.When I went the next day to pick her up, the staff all greeted me very warmly (just as if they have known me for a long time).I was taken right away to see my prdciius baby girl kitten. Dr julie was so easy to talk to, a very comforting and warm personality.They all helped me bck to front desk, and I and Sparkle went to the car.Im so thankful for chosing Dr Julie and staff.Joanne

We went to Dr. Julia with our three dogs. We have two French bulldogs and an English/American mix. The English/American mix has had a variety of issues recently, and she was at the end and in pain. We had to make the difficult decision to euthanize our 12-1/2 year old baby today, and Dr. Julie and her staff were absolutely the most supportive, sympathetic, and informed partners that we could have asked for. We love that our animals are extremely happy during and after their visits with Dr. Julie. If you are looking for a wonderful vet group, this is the one you should consider!

We full time travel with our two cats Maggie MaGoo and Skylar too.While visiting the area Maggie a tabby needed some attention for her ears so we called Canal Road Animal Hospital.From the the time the receptionist answered our initial call until our exit conference with the doctor, we were treated with professionalism, second to none.True southern hospitality at it's finest.?Maggie is doing well and glad to be home again and Skylar, a blue point Siamese, is happy to have her bud back.To the Doctor and staff at Canal Road Animal Hospital, thank you for making our visit enjoyable. ?Maggie says her visit is a 5 ????? rating..

I am so grateful for the thorough care and attention Dr. Julie gave to my sweet new rescue dog, Sadie. She not only spent almost an hour with me on the phone but she offered to meet with me on her day off to discuss my concerns to get Sadie on her path to wellness. I truly appreciate her time, her expertise and her genuine love for all animals. Best experience!??
