Poor Bank policy. The communication between the actual bank and the over phone customer service needs to improve. It took over a week for this bank to cash my check due to poor communication. I had a check from my job that Wells did not know how to read, so instead of giving me the check back to take to the bank who issued the check they tried to deposit it and then flag my check. This process took over a week to fix. I only could think about what if I was in need and this could have been real bad. The people in branch were nice but nice don't pay bills. Fraud department service and over the phone service all need to be let go from the job or need two months of training. I have been able to save 5 people from going to this bank and I hope to save more. Bank with Regions its a better bank. If a bank can not read checks its not the bank I want to be at.

Worst branch ever. I've been a customer at the Opelika branch for 20 years. All is good until you actually have a problem and need to deal with someone at this branch. It never fails that the management and customer service at this branch is the worst. I tried to call several different times throughout the day today to get a simple problem handled. No one ever answered the phone. Towards the end of the day, I called for 15 minutes straight and back to back. They let the phone ring until the branch was closed, and then let it roll over to the automated system. I'm pretty sure the ringers are cut off. It's always been bad, but got worse after thr Covid pandemic. I've been contemplating leaving this bank for a few years now. I think I will go ahead and switch asap. I just can't take it anymore. Pitiful excuse for a bank.

It's not just this branch but all in general.Its like this bank shuts down thursday afternoon and opens back up tuesday.My account always has a discrepancy to how much money I have.Every day it's different.Ive had to make a deposit at least 3 times a week to keep from having an overdraft.This is not just my account but several people I know also.WHAT IS HAPPENING?I know how to count and I'm depending on my bank to know how too.Please stop this nightmare before I'm forced to close my account of several years.

They will allow outside individuals to fraudulently withdraw money from your account. If you don't have the ability to weather life altering bank fraud, please bank anywhere else, Ideally outside WF.

Let me say - I don’t really care for major national banks but I love the Opelika crew. I can’t speak for all of Wells Fargo but I can say that Jacob is an incredible banker and always goes out of his way to help me. Myself, husband and two children all bank here because of him.

Ridiculous wait time for a drive thru service only location. Time to transfer everything to a credit union. Member since 2005 service has only went down hill. Thanks but goodbye.

Long story short, had a wf account 6 years ago with the opelika branch, had nothing but problems, kept all receipts, money was still coming up missing. Closed out that account. Well, i started back work so i decide to open a new wf in phenix city, hands down the best. Well this past Friday i took money to the branch in Opelika, instead of putting it in the atm i decided to go through a window, lesson learned, the chick had an attitude AND THEN they put my money in a whole different account. How is that even possible? I mean, they had my card so there should had been no confusion. Now im trying to get in touch with that branch manager to let them know what happened and i cant get a hold of anyone. Opelika wells fargo brach -10/10.BreeAnn

Do not use wells Fargo if it is for business purposes. I have to get change, for my business, usually once a week, which wasn't a problem, until they decided they no longer wanted to use their lobby. Now, I have to wait in line, for at least an hour. There's no reason for their lobby to STILL be closed. Banks are now, officially, THE ONLY BUSINESSES STILL CLOSED!! Stop being lazy.

I am a customer of this company and have been for a while now. I have been completely satisfied with the service and overall experience with wells Fargo. They offer a variety of services for everyone to choose from that is very helpful and beneficial for most, such as a breakdown of your spending habits, overdraft protection, 24/7 help with your account and more. They are wonderful.
