If you want to be discriminated against black peoples this is the place Opelika Walmart white employees treat black employees like trash as they do their black customers I was in Opelika Walmart with my mom to seek help activating or return the device we go to electronics told about a ninth day return policy and that she barely made it purchased date 6/21/24 return date 7/16/2024 ?♀️ Ej an employee called for approval/override to do the refund because there wasn’t anyone there to help with activation the other employee tells us the same as Ej except it wouldn’t let her do an override so she send us to customer service hopefully they could explain what’s the problem at customers service we get polite and refreshing customers service from black employees the lady at the register tried everything even to activate the phone herself even tried to refund and got nothing so she had another employee to go electronic to find the technician that we was told was gone and want be back till 7/17/24 so we tell this to the employees in customer service so as we wait customers and employees are talking about Opelika Walmart is the worst Walmart to shop at and how they treat the black employees this was being said by white customers now he’s back he go finds two technicians come tell us they are in the back with black collar shirts on go ask for him by name and if they had any problems to call the front so we wouldn’t half to walk back and forward mom go back to electronics I’m walking slow trying to open my snack as I’m getting closer I hear someone say could you help me then here yelling with the nastiest attitude it’s a employee yelling at my mom y’all the way she talked and treated her was absolutely not acceptable all three employees was mistreating her so I asked for a manager lord here come Josh whom acted just like his employees but worse he kelp pointing out how much she paid as if she did something wrong for coming back to Walmart Opelika making smart comments to the both of us then we get back to the front he preceded to talk down on us to the other employees and make smart remarks the way the employees talked and treated my mom when they thought she was alone I never thought someone would treat an old lady that way when I came to her defense two of them grabbed their balls and decided to come at me one being the Manager Josh who didn’t do any better when I explained what was going on even after I stopped talking and we was ready to go he continued to belittle my mom and I and antagonize us. People I always heard the stories about racism, discrimination and how they treated people of color at Opelika Walmart I never thought nothing of it until it happened to my mom and I

The place is in shambles. No one working. ALL registers are self checkout. Multiple workers refused to help us unlock a locked cabinet to get to face creams and we finally gave up after maybe 30 minutes of waiting on “other help”. They may have what you need but its a free for all. Manager should be ashamed.

I love all Walmarts but Valley,Al. They’ll harass you about looking at your receipts and we have the right to not show it ‼️

I call in my groceries and they notify me when they are ready. I love it. I dont have to get out of the car and there isnt any charge for pickup.

Long long lines all self checkout, but the cashier assistant helped us with all our stuff we had on the bottom while we did our stuff on top. Very nice of her.

It's not open 24 hours, and everyone is just kinda slow. They have evything a super center should have. Automotive, lawn and garden, pharmacy, and deli. I try not to give 5 star reviews unless the experience was phenomenal. 3 stars is and above average review IMO.
