I’ve been going in the Home Outlet store in Opelika for a few years now. James the Manager is always very helpful and willing to take the time to answer my questions. The store is neat and easy to locate items and supplies. James will always be my go to person when I have home projects! He’s awesome!

I walked into the store without an appointment. John B. gave me outstanding service and recommendations associated with full cabinet needs. Don't find this 5 star service very often in retail businesses.

Barton's in Opelika is a fantastic resource with great prices, good products and outstanding customer service! I was fortunate enough to work with Wynton on a kitchen cabinet remodel and he was BEYOND amazing. I know nothing about the process and he took the time to understand my needs and provide solid options within our budget. He was kind enough to redesign the plan to adjust to our needs and utility. We had many phone calls and emails (I live out of state) and he was always patient and available. He is knowledgeable, incredibly helpful and customer service oriented and also a very kind person. I am so grateful to him and for him!

I went in looking for new flooring and countertops and Wynton was very helpful! I didn’t feel rushed and I had an overall great experience. I will definitely be going back for any of my remodeling needs.

I'm not a person that make reviews because usually service received at businesses truly isn't what it use to be. But this business right here, Home Outlet (Opelika, AL) caused me....to write a review!!! I went looking for flooring and I got an associate named, Wynton T. This guy was absolutely amazing!! He walked through the store, explained our different options, gave us the best option for our needs and loaded it on our truck. He even did a follow-up call to my husband and I to make sure everything worked out with the installation.....THAT'S CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! If anyone needs anything for your home, please go check out this place, you will not be disappointed!!! #VeryHappyCustomer #WyntonIsGreat

I just needed some cabinets. The guy at the counter seemed new and when I said I needed a 30x30 cabinet he asked for upper or lower. His manager James said in a smarta** way “I didn’t know they made Lower 30x30”. Anyway, the system froze and cancelled the transaction, but my card was still charged. I knew it was going to be canceled eventually, but I was frustrated because I didn’t want my card charged another $400. As I’m looking at my bank app, James had an attitude and said “we’re not your bank, and I can’t tell you when you’re going to get it back, I don’t know how else to explain it to you for you to understand!” I did understand I would get the charge back, James. I was just frustrated because I’m going through a remodel and I’m trying to plan for everything, and I bank with a military affiliated bank so it’s not a bank I can just drive to since the closest one is almost an hour away.By the way you treat your employees and customers, I suggest you take up something else other than something in customer service…..or dealing with people in general.
