No, I have never been asked for identification in a store to exchange some shoes. I brought the shoes in their box and the receipt in their bag. and they ask me for identification I can't believe it.

I guess it was the manager who called me for a interview and was extremely rude and hateful. Didn't like that I couldn't drop what I was doing to interview at the last moment. Became rude again and flat out hung up on me. Know I see why that can't keep help if the management and or employees are that way
