I love shopping for wine, gifts, seasonal beer, furniture, kitchen items, chocolate and vintage candy selections. Christmas time is a great time to find gifts and stocking stuffers. World Market is one of my favorite stores to shop!!!

I tried to return a painting my mom, who lives in another state, bought me for my new home that I no longer needed. She sent me clear, scannable photos of the original receipt, but the workers would not accept it as a method of returning. Not only would they not allow it even after a thorough and honest explanation of the case, they attacked me as to why I didn’t have physical receipts or the card the artwork was bought on. Upon speaking to a manager, he told me even if I had the physical paper receipts (which my mom would mail to me) that I could not receive a refund without both the receipt AND the form of original payment. This is bullshit as I have returned items with just a receipt before. After being bombarded with questions and bullied into taking store credit for the artwork, I will never return to this location ever again.

I've shopped at this location since 2002. I love the products and always buy something when I come in to visit. I will not be returning to this location. I was a having a girls' day with my 9-year-old daughter. At checkout, I was aggressively offered a credit card. I declined by saying, "no thank you." Then, in front of my child, I was verbally attacked by the cashier for not reading her name tag, which specified they/them pronouns. It was not my intent to insult them. She went so far to insult a customer. I left, shaking. The couple in front of me were not treated this way. I think this person chose to attack to me. It is obvious customer experience is far less important than they/them. Thanks for the memories. The customer deserves better than to be attacked.

Sarah, Carolyn, and Linda were extremely helpful in helping me find the perfect dining room set! They spent a lot of time helping me make a decision and even helped me put the table and chairs in the car once they were available for pick up! These three made the process astronomically easier and I would recommend anyone who needs furniture or anything else to go to this World Market! These employees were awesome and super nice as well!

Sarah West & Brookelynn were absolutely incredible to me! I had to get some business items and they were SO patient and kind to me! Easy to talk to and shop with!!! I got a credit card and had to build a large purchase to leave with today. ? Sarah West greeted me and got me started shopping as she always does with such kindness and cheerful energy! ? She really cares. Brookelynn assisted my as well and really is great caring for the people in front of her ? Sarah West closed the sale and made sure my rewards was syncing up and stayed late to make sure I was totally taken care of while both Brookelynn and Sarah West loaded me into my vehicle with all my items. I’m very thankful to have had the 2 of them assisting me - they made it easy for me to shop without feeling pressured to purchase anything extra but choosing what I wanted and needed! Thankful for tonight!

Went to buy wine and honey at the store but when I asked an employee, who's back was turned to me, "ma'am where can I find honey" she turned and barked "MY PRONOUNS ARE THEY/THEM AND YOU WILL RESPECT IT" then she continued to be very rude. I exited the store until I saw the manager come to the front and went back in only to hear other customers call her "ma'am" in front of her manager and the girl said nothing about it. I feel she singled me out because I'm a white male and her manager wasn't around. I gave my complaint to the manager and left. I don't care what you are, I was asking for help in a polite manner and expect politeness in return not hate. Train your employees better World Market

I rarely review stores unless it’s a positive review, just to preface.
We checked out and the clerk was fine. She don’t smile or wasn’t friendly, but that’s totally cool with me. I’ve been to countries where hospitality isn’t the same as you’d expect in the south.
Upon exiting, I noticed she rung up my receipt wrong. So we went back in and kindly asked her to give the discounted price on the item I purchased. She was extremely rude, muttering something beneath her breath. She flung the receipt into the air instead of handing it to us and said “have a good night,” in a disgusted voice. I’ve never really experienced such strange and rude behavior from any store in the area.
We were nothing short of polite with her. She was extremely inconvenienced, but it’s not our fault she rung us up incorrectly.
This World Market should probably refine their hiring process, because this should’ve never happened.

I go here all the time to see what they have to offer. It's a wide variety of things. Some I've seen but the majority are things that I haven't. My favorite area is the candy. There's candy there from all over the world. My favorite is the Japanese.

I’ve never had such a rude customer service experience in my life. There was no checkout person to be found so I unloaded my cart at the first register then I noticed an employee sitting way out of sight at the farthest register from the front door not engaging whatsoever so I asked if that was the register that was open. She ignored me. So I asked louder then was given a beyond rude tone that she can’t hear me. Multiple times.So I go over to her register and tell her she is sitting where she can’t be seen and she says she has hearing issues and a heart problem. That doesn’t mean you hide from customers then give them attitude when they want to pay?? I see this is not the first review about this lady, that’s how bad it really is. Consider moving blue hair out of customer service immediately if you want people to shop here.
