Today I had the worst experience at this bank with their new teller Jack, he would not give me his name but he had a name tag, I have been with truist for a few years now. solely as a liaison between me and my fiancées bank accounts we both have different banks but our pay checks are from bb&t, now Truist, when the change of ownership happened they started charging $8 for cashing one of their checks. We found it more beneficial to open an account and save about $64 a month, especially since I was also taking my works business deposits almost daily it was a no brainer. we have had nothing but excellent experiences here, their branch manager Travis is excellent and takes care of his clients, every teller I’ve had until now has been wonderful I used to go out of my way to come here just for the customer experience.So then they hired this new teller jack and now whenever I deal with him it’s always an issue my fiancée was adopted and her adopted name doesn’t match her name on documents it’s a sensitive subject for her and we have tried to get it fixed but conflicting agency’s makes that difficult, again this was never an issue even when we opened the account it was not an issue and we have NEVER had anyone speak up against it at multiple locations across different states (Florida, Alabama, Georgia, North and South Carolina) so again when we started having issues with jack it was a shock for us. We avoided him and let our other tellers handle our money because we just didn’t trust him to act appropriately or courteously and he has no customer service skills, at least not that we have seen, and we would rather not deal with his ugly behavior.Today really tipped it off because he kept going on about being audited and not wanting to lose his job over something we have been doing with no issues for almost three years now, he would not get anyone else to help us like they normally do and their branch manager unfortunately was out today so we went back and forth and I told him “ we built such a relationship with this bank and we put in tons of money here between us and when I worked in this area taking deposits here and I don’t understand why you are behaving like this” and he snapped back “what money you don’t have anything in this account” I don’t have to explain why there is no money to a teller and he should never make such comments against customers and shouldn’t look into the accounts for anything outside the scope of his job and duties it was baffling dealing with that today and it really got me heated. I am going to call and apologize to Travis for acting crazy in his bank but that teller has to go.

That's my bank, i wish it was still open in my home town lol but nice staff and they have came a long way with the ? problems from when it was Bb&T a few years ago. But I love Truist ❤

Since my Bbt account became my truist account I've had nothing but trouble sccessing my account b online. .trouble

Ms Brenda its a very nice teller
