I have not personally attended a reenactment or been inside the business but I have walked the grounds and the park which is very nice. Well taken care of.

We had our wedding in the barn. Had most everything we needed already there, just had to decorate. A great price , and made for a beautiful wedding

Finally found the time to visit all of this location. The museum is very interesting. The memorials are beautiful. The guide at the museum is very knowledgeable. This is a FREE museum. I plan on going back soon!

A site of historical value built unfortunately with slave labor but was destroyed by United State Troops who had defeated the confederates at Ten Island and was on a mission to destroy the rebel railway network to Montgomery.

Nice clean place for an outing. Slave labor built the furnace. Local example of the exploitation of African Americans. The furnaces as never used.

Wonderful Sunday day trip. We like to explore our new state having moved from the Eastern Shore of Maryland. On the Eastern Shore is Furnace Town which helped us to want to visit. Tom Norton was a gracious host and gave the location an important part of the local history..

It was a nice place to visit. It's full of historical significance. I didn't get to see all of it as I just had total knee replacement and couldn't walk up some of the hills. I look forward to going back to explore more of the facilities when I'm more mobile in the future.
