We called to inquire about the availability of a unit and received exceptionally fast and friendly service. We completed the lease agreement electronically and were able to access the unit within 2 hours. The gentleman I spoke to on the phone was very pleasant and said he was going to have the workers clean the unit prior to our arrival. All communication was very quick and questions were easily answered. When we got there, the unit was spotlessly clean and they left a new disk lock for us. We love that the facility is gated and that the rows are very well lit. The layout is great if you have a trailer. I have a 24 foot trailer which is normally a nightmare at a storage facility but the rows are wide and are all interconnected so you never have to reverse to get to the exit. Their prices are competitive and the service really stood out. In our experience with other facilities, at best the units were dusty/dirty and at worse had rodent droppings, cobwebs, roaches, or ants. Here at Reliable, there was not a single cobweb, insect, or animal dropping in the unit and the floor and walls were truly CLEAN. The roof is insulated which might keep things a little milder in the summer. They clearly maintain the units and property very well. There is great lighting, security cameras, gated entry, and a good location so we feel like things are as secure as they can be. The only thing that would make it better in our opinion would be if there was a light inside the unit so that you could see the contents easier at night or on a cloudy day. Not a biggie at all. I can confidently say that this is our best experience with a storage facility, both in terms of service, and in terms of the condition and maintenance of the property. We will definitely recommend Reliable/Skelton to anyone.
