I've shopped at the Northport store for as long as I can remember. Mr. Jay Welborn, I'm 63 years old but your store in Northport treats customers as if all are thief'snow. I get it you will have shoplifting but it's wrong to treat all your customers as such. I've been a loyal customer but I've about reached a point where the desire to shop in your stores is over.
I've carried a backpack for years. I always zip it up and put it on my back until finished shopping. Yet, now they want me to give them my personal belongings to watch over as I shop. I've agreed for them to even search the bag but I'm told your store policy is not such.
I asked your security, "So how will I know my items are safe," and he says "There are cameras everywhere!" EXACTLY!
YOU HAVE CAMERAS EVERYWHERE! YOU WILL SEE IF I SHOPLIFT!
Plus your managers are rude, "Well, if you don't like it, go elsewhere!"
There's not any store in Tuscaloosa County that has treated me in such a way over caring a backpack.
YOU MIGHT NOT CARE HOW YOUR CUSTOMERS ARE TREATED BUT THIS NEW SECURITY PLAN WILL ONLY LOSE CUSTOMERS.

On Sunday, June 9, at 7:05 pm I stopped by the Northport, Alabama store. My son wanted to buy some sodas from the vending machines outside. However, the machine jammed and he went inside to let the store manager know. He came outside and released the sodas but instead of politely handing the sodas to my son he threw them on the ground for my son to pick up and went back into the store. After witnessing this I went into the store to address him about this. I told him “I appreciate you getting the sodas but you didn’t have to throw them on the concrete. The nice thing to do would have been to politely hand them to my son.” He replied “Yeah I did it, now hit the road.”
I want to say I am a black man raising a black son to treat everyone with respect and dignity regardless of their race. My son felt he was mistreated because of his skin color. My family & I stop at this store whenever we come to Northport and the majority of people who shop here are Black or Hispanic. It’s sad to know that we are probably not the only ones being mistreated by the store manager, Wayne.
In conclusion, it’s obvious my business is not appreciated and my Family and I will never shop here again!

Great prices, just absent on certain products. They have the majority of essentials. But I went in there One afternoon looking for under pads for my mother. And they don't Carry them. I find that kinda odd. I mean there are many women out there that need those. I had to go to dollar general to get that
