I recently visited the Dollar General store in Northport, and I must say, it was an incredibly disappointing experience. From the moment I walked in, it was evident that this might just be the worst Dollar General in the area.
The aisles were cluttered with merchandise waiting to be shelved, making navigation through the store a frustrating experience. In many cases, I had to backtrack and find alternative paths to reach the items I needed. It was clear that there was a lack of organization and attention to detail in maintaining the store's layout.
What was even more disheartening was the apparent lack of pride among the staff in their store and their jobs. I observed employees who seemed disinterested and unmotivated, which reflected in the overall atmosphere of the store.
One particular incident stood out during my checkout process. As I was about to provide feedback on the satisfaction display, the cashier preemptively flipped the display towards herself and selected the "excellent" option without giving me a chance to express my true feelings about the visit. This left me wondering if cashiers are allowed to rate themselves and manipulate customer feedback.
I strongly urge the management of this Dollar General location to take immediate action. They need to hire staff members who take pride in their work, maintain a clean and organized store, and most importantly, ensure transparency and honesty in customer feedback systems. Customers deserve better than what this store currently offers, and unless significant improvements are made, I cannot recommend shopping at this Dollar General in Northport.

This place looks like a junkyard. Junk laying all around, no one at register and the most hardcore gang rap blasting over the entire store. Dollar General looks like a thrift store or second hand store that was dumped on the side of the road.It is a shame that this one is not the only one like this. In fact looking at all the stores in my county I would say the ethic run all the way up the top. This is their lifestyle. Just imagine their homes ?

This dollar general on 69N needs some SERIOUS help!! They never open when they’re supposed to anymore and I just pulled in at 8:23pm on 6/5/23 and there were two guys waving at me. One to tell me they were closed and the other guy was locking the door. Store hours say they close at 10pm… Once again no note on the door. I will soon no longer be shopping here until they can get it together!!

Dollar General has gone down over the years. The parking lot is trashed & the inside of these stores are no better. Isles are packed full of boxes of inventory, a huge safety issue.

This store needs the isles cleaned up. There is always clutter, isles are usually full of carts with loaded merchandise, so bad that you can’t even get down the isles to shop and usually can’t get a shopping cart down the isles to get needed items. Shelves aren’t well stocked , usually out of the items that I need. I love Dollar General stores but this one needs much needed attention and improvements on stocking and cleaning up. Also there seems to be a real shortage in checkout staff. I shop here a lot because it convenient but go to different ones just because this one is so cluttered

At 9:45 closed! The sign said 10. There was no note on the door. If you're gonna close early put a note on the door.

The cashier was friendly and made pleasant conversation while she checked me out. The other employees where working to keep the store clean and organized. This is my favorite store to stop at on my way home from school or on my way home.

Went in this store today 31st of July at 2:55pm could even shop all the baskets were full of stuff and every isle was full of stuff. I just walked back out the door. Wish I knew how to add pics because I have taken plenty of them. This store usually looks a mess but today was ridiculous.
