The best thing about the Walmart neighborhood market in Northport is convenience. It's like a scale down version of the Supercenter. It's easy to run in and get the few things you need. They also have a great pharmacy there management could be improved upon though they don't seem to motivate their employees very well, and I see signs of favoritism.

Well I was in Walmart and thought getting a chicken sandwich for a quick snack was a good idea. It had mold on the buns. Never buying chicken there again. The service there was good.

This is the second time I have been in here and left feeling like crying. The larger grey haired black woman who checks people out is so mean and At first I thought it was that she was having a bad day and didn't want to help me with my wic purchases but it happened again today. She talked to me like I was stupid right after I saw her having a friendly interaction with another black lady ahead of me.. thought it would be different this time but she snapped on me because one of my items had to be put back. I don't believe racist is the word to use .. but she is definitely prejudiced.

This neighborhood Walmart is known for being racist and rude. If I hadn't experienced it myself, being a women of color, I wouldn't be writing. There is a large black woman working there that many think is a racist. I think her name is Della. I've seen her laugh and cuss (under her breath but you can audibly hear it) at white women only while shopping and checking out. She has been reported to corporate yet she is still there tormenting her co-workers and patrons. I guess the GM won't do anything about it. Please share your experience if similar so something can be done to help the volatile uneasy shopping environment. Would love to be able to shop with my friends in non hostile store.

The best thing about it is that it's convenient to work, and has cheap gas That's all.I usually go in the morning, and about half the time, you have to use a self checkout (which I loathe). If there IS a manned checkout lane open, there is only one, and it always seems to be staffed by the same racist woman who has never spoken to me, but will speak to literally every person of color who comes through her line. It just gets old.
