I had the mist awesome experience with this shop. I talked with Jack who was professional and gave detailed instructions as to when to bring my car in. As a female, I was not overcharged as I have been in my 60 years. They did not keep my car all day like most and I was pleased with the price. I highly recommend this shop. Northport is blessed to have this business in town.

One of the Best experience I have ever had with a repair shop. A man named Jack was so helpful. I was not over charged because I am a female and it did not take the entire day to complete work. I would highly recommend Auto Tech in Northport. God Bless

The worst business experience I've had in my life. I took my vehicle in on a Monday to get the gas tank replaced. The parts had been ordered and were there and I saw them when I took my vehicle in. They told me it would be ready in one or two days. Well, three days went by and I called and got no answer. I called four days later and five days later and every business day later for a total of seven calls and got no answer. Couldn't leave a voicemail. Nothing. And this was over a holiday weekend when I really needed my vehicle. The Uber bills were piling up while I could not get any answer from anybody there and could not leave a message. After two weeks, I had to rent a car and go there to get my vehicle. The parts were right there where they had been two weeks earlier, boxes unopened. My vehicle was parked in a different place. This was very stressful and I will never go back there. I actually don't believe any of the positive reviews here.

The gentleman that owns the shop is an honest and reliable person. They have went above and beyond to take care of me...twice now. I plan on always using Auto Tech for any repair needs on any vehicle I own or will own.

There were so many problems with my experience at Autotech. While I understand being busy and backlogged, it took 3+ months to install a new head gasket and radiator. When I visited to check on their progress, my hood was thrown in the bed of my 78 Ford F100 with some of the paint scratched. Since I’ve had my truck back, I’ve realized that the timing was off and distributor cap was placed on wrong. Further, the new radiator has a spot with a small leak. Overall a bad experience that has cost me in the long run.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

My friend recommended this repair shop. Jack, the owner, was friendly and patient. He drove the car just as I asked him to. He helped me determine the nature of the problem was not engine-related. I would visit Auto Tech again.

Well I was hoping to have a good review but took my car there was told I'd let u know by end of week the diagnosis!! NOPE!! Called Monday said I'll let you know by end of today what's wrong!! NOPE! Had wife call Tuesday morning told her few guys out sick maybe by end of week. Unfortunately,we are getting car towed home but when we called said he had to leave and isn't there but he working from his phone! So now we able to fix a car from the phone without being there with it. My times have really changed if that's the case. I was hoping the other reviews weren't true but I guess not!! ??

Do not use this guy. Seriously. Go to the next mechanic on your google search. Use the auto tech on McFarland. They have the same name as this Auto tech which is in Northport. But they are 2 completely unrelated businesses. Again, use the auto tech located at 1001 McFarland Blvd NE.

My truck has an issue. Every time I stop at a red light, I have to put truck in park and rev engine to hopefully keep it from going dead. Warren Tire told me straight up they could not diagnose the problem, but referred me to Auto Tech, who "has a man who really knows imports." The only thing they could find wrong was fuel pressure was low and recommended replacing fuel pump and filter. Doing so did not solve my trucks problem, neither did the multi-purpose sensor. Was told they spent a day but was only going to charge me for one hour labor for diagnosis, as they could not figure out the problem. During testing, they determined my starter was faulty and to continue trying to figure it out, would need to put a new starter on, for 325.00. I declined and decided to have it towed to another shop. They had it for 7 1/2 business days. My bill was 594.96 total. So I drove it there, had to have it towed away, am out near 600 bucks, and my truck is not fixed. For folks who have had good experiences at the shop, congratulations. I won't go back and would not recommend it to ANYONE.
