Do not have work done without getting a second company confirm what they diagnose, unless you want to be out thousands.We purchased a home in March, I needed a reputable company to maintain and service our HVAC system. Based on so many positive reviews, I was pretty confident when I called them that I would receive honest service.Unfortunately, I did not. I called in May to schedule service. The office staff was great and fit me in pretty quick. However within 5 mins of the technician showing up, he came to my door and said my refrigerant was low and my evap coil was leaking. They quoted me over 3000+ to fix or Over 7300-8500 for a new unit.We have a warranty with our home and so we called to have it taken care of under warranty and they did not find ANYTHING wrong!Since the warranty company did not find anything, we’ve had multiple companies out to give quotes to repair. None of them have found low refrigerant OR a leaky evap coil!All I needed was maintenance done to make sure my unit was running well, they misdiagnosed and had I listened, I’d be out thousands!I messaged the company and explained the situation. Knowing they couldn’t do anything, I just wanted to give a heads up about my story so they are aware their technicians are misdiagnosing customers. Thinking they’d want to know since they have a good reputation, I haven’t heard any response. Nothing saying sorry OR thanks for letting us know OR we will do better-literally no response.I do not recommend you having anything done without having another company out as well.Unfortunately I don’t have much good to say and they apparently are ok with this type of dishonest service.

Tiptons had been out HVAC. Company for 15 years. All their employees are professional and do an excellent job. I would recommend them to anyone.

Tipton heating and air installed our unit over 40 - Forty years ago. With proper maintenance our unit still works and has ever summer for 42yr.

They are very non responsive! Tried for weeks to get these guys to come out for an estimate on a gas line installation. They never came out after weeks of trying to reach them.

Overpriced, horrible customer service. Exorbitant cost - charged me over a $1000 more for 1 day of replacing ductwork than a professional painter charged who spent 3-1/2 days using high dollar Sherwin Williams paint to paint the entire exterior of a 1700 sq ft house. Didnt finish the job for WEEKS and would not return calls.

We have used Tipton for 3 years now and they are hands down the most honest, hardest working company I have ever used. They tell me what's wrong, charge me a fair price and are usually able to fix whatever problems I may have the very same day I call them. We had a new a/c unit pur in a few months ago and part of it broke due to manufacturing error. Even though it wasn't their fault they still covered the cost to have everything repaired so I didn't have to fight the carrier warranty people.Services: Heating system repair

Our a/c quit cooling on Saturday 4th of July weekend! We called them 7:30 Monday morning and they were here by 9:30. Checked our unit for a couple of things, fixed it and had us with cool air once again within the hour. They tell you what’s wrong and how they are going to fix it. We have used them several times in the past and will continue. We highly recommend using them for all your heating and cooling.

We called them out this winter because our unit was blowing cold air. They sent out a technician and he told us we needed a new unit ( about $5,000 and it would be Monday before they could order one. Our unit is only 8 years old. We called someone else and they said we definitely did not need a new unit and fixed our problem. I would never recommend them to anyone !! I complained to them and never got a call from the management..beware of these people!!!!

I called Tipton to track down an issue where my HVAC system was heating instead of cooling and using too much electricity. The technician they sent out was on time and very helpful. He was able to quickly diagnose the problem as being related to the thermostat wiring, and had everything fixed in less than an hour. System is running correctly now.
