I will never ever use another pharmacy but this publix location. The Pharmacist are not only nice, but they truely care and have helped me with their knowledge. Everytime I go, they ask how I am doing and take time to talk. They treat me like a person, not just number. That means so much when you have someone that has medical knowledge and wants to help you! I am blessed to have their help and friendship!

First, they were out of everything I needed. Even the most basic thing....water!! Seriously! And 4 of the list of my very basic list of 10 things....nowwherecto be found. Then, I go to check out and the light is on for the check out aisle. Right when I get in the line and stop, the lady puts up her sign and closes. Looks straight me and does it. Seriously? What crappy service. Enjoy your break, lazy pants!! And when I mentioned how that was truly bad cudtomer service to another "Publix associate," she just looks at and walks off! Seriously!!!!! I've worked in customer service over 20 years but wow. Just wow. I'm flabbergasted and the sh*ttastic service and inventory. I used to come here a couple of times a week for things but no anymore. Super disappointing!!!

I will pay whatever I have to just to come here….(I pay out of pocket for pricey meds by the way)IF Michelle and Bobby are there only!!! They are by far the most knowledgeable, patient, respectful, honest, and truly genuine pharmacist at any pharmacy around!

My rotisserie chickens that I bought on January 4th were both RAW on the inside. I have photos and called deli to inform them and they said they'd call me back and never did. Beware if you get these from here. Also, it's not up for debate on if they were raw or not. It was mushy, completely pink and gummy. Horrible.

I’d like to give a 5 star review to Ashleigh in the pharmacy. I use this location often since I’ve moved to Birmingham and have experienced really great customer service and interactions with the staff. Today I had a pick up (prepaid via app) & after driving over an hour from my work office today I made myself go in to pick up my prescriptions. Due to covid and HIPPA I stood back from the pick up counter waiting my turn. Made eye contact w the pharmacist (white coat) & he continued to talk investments with the man in front of me. Which is fine. I’m patient. After he saw me though, he went on to tell the gentleman at the counter “let me show you” and pulled out his phone to continue discussing investing etc. to my rescue came Ashleigh :) I am a medical professional myself so I love it when someone politely puts the patient first even to her superior (if that were the situation idk I’m assuming from his white coat and lack of the patient part of the job) Ashleigh asked them to please move aside so she could assist me. Just a simple act and acknowledgment that all patients deserve & just being simply aware of others was very kind and appreciated. Thank you Ashleigh & Publix on Overton :)

I used to love this store. I live closer to Winn Dixie, but they staff the checkout with one person, so I visited Publix down the street. At the store, they've had it well staffed, with friendly and efficient folks who actually greet you and wave you over to their counter. That is until they recently replaced the checkout with self-checkout lanes. I am so disappointed. It is less friendly and much slower. I used to enjoy coming to Publix. I don't anymore.

Great store awesome service. Ryan M. that works there was very nice about helping me find everything I needed. Its like the knew the store intimately even though he just told me he started working there.

Since the opening of this store, Publix Pharmacy on Overton has been my pharmacy. They are outstanding people. Thank you for being there.

This store is always odd and doesn't have good customer service, one time I got a salad with plastic in it, one time they forgot to put my 4 magazines in my bag and they almost got left, one time someone that worked there, when I spilled something demanded I go to the front desk and tell them, even though they worked there and should of done it, one time the manager (I think) of the fish dept greeted a young looking woman in red tights and a purple mini skirt and went to the back of the store, it looked extremely inappropriate. It is a horrible store, Ive complained over and over and nothing changes. I guess this store just likes having people with horrible customer service skills work at their store.

I haven't been to Publix before, and got some produce good for the store, and got for the champagne for me and my date for the first time, and got some strawberries and mangos and forgot the ice for the sorbet and a smoothie too, and got for the juice for the smoothies to share.

Thank you for having paper grocery bags as an option! You are one of the few Publix stores in town that does.

DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY. They majorly screwed my prescriptions up (IE giving me the wrong number of pills ) and then tried to cover up a mistake that was made when the prescription was first getting filled. The new pharmacist then claimed that even though I was completely out of my non controlled prescription that I could not get an emergency fill even though they were the reason why I was in that position to begin with.
