I went in to buy wine for my mother’s birthday and needed help picking out some bottles. Knowing the kind she likes, they were able to recommend two bottles in my price range and they were spectacular. Absolutely wonderful wines that have easily become a favorite.

Used to be a good place to pick up cheap liquor (since it’s Alabama and not an ABC, everything that isn’t bottom shelf is super overpriced), but recently it’s been really disheartening to see the staff (including presumably the owner) and the shoppers completely ignore the need for masks, even going so far as to remove their “please wear a mask” sign from the front door. Do yourself a favor and find an ABC where the booze is cheaper and the staff show respect for their fellow humans.

Wide selection of bourbons, aperitifs, wines, and local beers. Fair pricing and friendly service. Mask compliance was not great.
