Ex Voto is hands down my favorite store in Birmingham. The staff are so incredibly helpful and kind! Their selection of items from clothing to jewelry offers something for everyone and I get compliments on everything I wear from there! Shopping there is always a great experience!

YOU ARE SEW CUTE! Boutiques in Mountain Brook aren't aren't to come by. There are tons of them. Each having their own special style. While walking around Mnt. Brook with a friend yesterday, we stumbled upon this hidden gem. What brought us in initially was that they were having a summer sale. I believe there is going to be more sales of all the boutiques and shops in the mountain Brook area on Saturday, but this was a snip it of what some of the sales could potentially consist of. There were tons of sales racks inside too. Each labeled with a sticker so you knew the price of each item up for grabs. This is not typically the kind of spot you would find me shopping in if there wasn't a sale. Just about everything in the store had a price tag that exceeded $300. But to be able to find items inside for as low as $9 now that is a steal. The women working inside were very nice, but I do have to admit they were very pushy. As my friend and I shopped, we felt as though we were followed and watched by the women who work there. I know working on commission is difficult, however, being watched and constantly asked if we need a fitting room after we've told you multiple times no, in inexcusable. I believe there is a time and place for all things, however, I would highly suggest if you can't justify spending $200-$300 on a dress wait for their sale days and you will walk away a happy camper. I did purchase a pair of shorts from this boutique. The original price was $79 and I purchased them for $9. So if you can hit the sales racks on the right time frame then you will be walking away a happy camper. But if you are the type who can justify spending that much on clothing then this is the store for you.

ExVoto has a warm and old world feel when you step in their quaint shop in Mountain Brook Village. I am always welcomed when shopping with this lovely shop, and it is my go to for finding unique, timeless pieces designed by a local artist. A gem definitely worth visiting!
