Here is my horror story: These people are not to be trusted with your insurance. They increase your payment without telling you, and then, worst of all, they will charge you when they shouldn't. I called and sent in all needed paperwork to cancel my insurance with this terrible company weeks ago and they still charged me for it, then said they wouldn't refund me until Amy could approve it, but guess what she's on vacation until Wednesday. So I waited until Wednesday and called over 5 times and was told each time "she will call you." She never did. So I called corporate, and guess what? The reason I got charged was because they never canceled the policy weeks ago! After further discussion with corporate, they informed me that the policy was canceled, but was canceled that day. So they only canceled because I kept calling instead of when I originally asked them to weeks prior.
TLDR: So basically I asked for my policy to be canceled, they never did, then the "only person who can cancel" (this is incorrect btw, you can call corporate and they will do it) LEFT on vacation with my policy still not canceled and then let them charge me! Then, wouldn't even consider giving me a refund because "only Amy can do that too". Then Amy never called me back with my money in her pockets. Unacceptable. To get anything resolved corporate had to get involved and my refund will be a check that I still haven't gotten.
DO NOT USE STATEFARM. Literally any other place is better. The company I swapped to is saving me hundreds of dollars and is very easy to work with.
I never leave reviews, but people need to be warned about this. I read through the other reviews and I'm not the only person they have done this to.

Everyone I’ve ever spoken to at this office has been wonderful. Most recently, Jamal has been helping me, and he’s been incredibly helpful and kind. Can’t recommend enough.

We recently purchased a JetSki, which I wanted to have insured before the weekend. I called the office on Friday to set it up. Because the JetSki was up at the lake, I didn’t have all the information that was needed, such as the engine serial number, make and model of the trailer, etc. admittedly, I was frustrated. However, Conner Sumner offered to take his laptop home on Friday night and call me on Saturday morning to continue setting up the insurance when I was back up at the lake. Who does that anymore? Clearly, that young man is a tremendous asset to the State Farm team!

I never leave Google reviews, but I will make an exception for Jamal. He provided such excellent service and brightened up my day (and I've been having a pretty tough week). He even helped me with something I didn't even ask for but needed! I called up State Farm to report a scammer that had just called me trying to say they worked for State Farm (but they sounded nothing like my usual agent). Jamal helped me file a report with the number in a timely and friendly manner; and while this process was being completed I was talking to him about an issue I was having with Geico. I canceled my policy with Geico last year in June and thought I had also canceled my husband's policy with them at the same time. For the past year, I've been getting charged every month for an insurance that I was no longer using (because I switched to state farm). I didn't notice it until this month. Geico told me they could reimburse me for some of the money if I provided the right documents. Jamal took it upon himself to go ahead and prepare and email me the documents I needed to provide Geico to get reimbursed and I had no intention of asking him to do this but he went ahead and did it without me asking and I appreciate the consideration and kindness! Thank you so much Jamal!!! I appreciate you. You saved me so much time and stress by taking that initiative. It probably would have been another week before I would have gotten the documents myself and by then Geico probably would have already charged me another 200 dollars that I do not have to spend on insurance that I'm not using. Jamal was God sent. Amy, I don't know if you're reading this; but if you are, Jamal deserves a raise for his exceptional customer service. I will definitely be asking for him the next time I have to use your services if he's available. If you're looking to use the same agent everytime you call (like me), then I highly recommend considering Jamal.

Amy and her team are awesome! My prior insurance company wanted to double my insurance when we added a new driver. Amy was able to match and beat the coverage and keep my current rate! On top of that they got me better protection and a lower rate in my home insurance. Very happy with her team and product and happy we made the switch!

Everyone's so helpful! Got rear ended pretty hard and ghe driver at fault left no contact or insurance info, and I had absolutely no idea how to deal with the situation. Katrina helped me establish a claim with the other party's insurance company and now I'm getting my car repaired starting tomorrow. Thank you so much!

I’ve been trying to cancel my rental insurance since a week ago. I've explained the reason for the cancellation a few times, but she still hasn't canceled my insurance, and I still can't get in direct contact with her. Amy Gardner is really the worst agent and has made my experience with State Farm the worst. TERRIBLE SERVICE!
