Wish I had seen these reviews before I dealt with them. Total scammers. They buried an auto renew clause in the fine print and never disclosed it. Do not deal with this company!

Liars. Didn’t show up for an appointment today (Saturday) to fix my internet. Now I have to wait until Monday morning. Absolute $hit customer service.

Worst service ever. 5 years now been living through it. They act like they are the best. Someone needs to tell them they are the worst. Period.

EDIT- they respond to say call this number but yet they still have no idea what's going on and still are going back on their word about my refund. It has been over 60 days and I still have not received my refund. I spoke to a "customer support rep" and they stated they did not have my equipment. AFTER they verified that they had it last time. THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS.I would leave zero stars if I could. Buckle up this is a good one...I had to use Wow internet as that's the only service offered at my apartment complex. Initially it was fine. The tech came out and was friendly and set up my equipment. About 9 months later the internet goes out and I call customer support. They state that the issue is with my modem (which was provided by Wow). The tech argued with me and stated that I did not have Wow equipment. Obviously I still did because it was the same exact equipment that the tech installed. So they sent me another modem (FINALLY) and i did the self install and mailed back the modem. Fast forward 6 months the same issue happens again and I call tech support again. Well, wouldn't you know it. They state MY EQUIPMENT is the problem and I'm not using WOW equipment. After arguing with this lady who could barely speak English I ask for a supervisor and then the same lady gets on and says she is a different name. She states they will send a tech out to help and charge me for it. I protest the charge because it is clearly not my equipment. The tech comes out and low and behold its the same guy. He tells me he remembers me and is very helpful. Switches out my equipment and it works fine. Well thankfully I moved out of there 2 months later and then cancelled my service. I go to drop off the equipment at the location provided and a tech there tells me no one works in the building but to place my modems in the drop box. No problem right?.......WRONG. I drop them off and thankfully video the entire process for proof, because 6 weeks later I get a charge for almost $200 for equipment not being returned. You mean the equipment I didn't rent from WOW? That I never had? Oh now I have your equipment, that's hilarious. I call customer service and I am told I never turned off Auto pay which is why I was charged......wait what? I have my cancellation email from you confirming the end of my service. She said I still have to cancel autopay. I tell them I clearly do not want auto pay since I do not even have this service anymore. She then tells me the charges are about equipment that has not been returned. I explain to her as plain as possible that I returned the equipment as instructed and at the location I was told to go to. She then tries to tell me that location does not exist, and I must be mistaken. This is absolutely a pathetic business. There are clearly no records kept. I would never do business with them again. If you do, then do not give them auto pay access because they will continue to charge you LONG after you end your service with them even though you are no longer receiving services. If you happen to get someone on the phone that speaks any form of English, then stay with them, and hope for the best. I cannot say it any more plain.....STAY AWAY FROM WOW internet. Awful customer service, awful record keeping, and I still have yet to receive my refund for money that they owe me!

I hate I cancelled spectrum. I was a scheduled for today new customer install. Wow changed the date to tomorrow. Which is an inconvenience for me. If I read the reviews before now I would have never left spectrum. So after had to act up. Install of the internet was completed those young men get a 20. So I was informed to call and schedule installation for my home phone so that the number can be transferred. It will be 7-10 days before your old phone comp at will Release your number. I called WOW 9-29-23 installations was set for 10-10 I said it will have to be rescheduled because that is not the date I choose. That is the date your phone number will be released to us. I have had this number for 18 years just for them to tell me. Since you have new services we can’t use your old phone number you will have to get a new number. Please do not get WOW I am only doing this 1 year and I am done. I have never been through this much horrible customer service in my life in one day with the same company. Every time you call they tell you something different. Please don’t get them please. Horrible

This is the worst internet I've ever had. 7/8 evenings, it doesn't work at all. I wouldn't trust working from home with this "service." It may be cheaper than other internet, but when you pay for someone else, you actually get internet. Additionally, when we cancelled, they made us pay a full extra month AFTER we cancelled! Do yourself a favor and just throw away their spammy advertising before it even makes it inside your house.

What’s the point of listing this a drop off point if the doors are locked? There is a bin to drop off equipment, but who in their right mind is going to drop off several hundred dollars worth of equipment without a receipt or proof?WOW, get your act together. And stop telling your phone customer service reps to give this place as a drop off point. It’s not!Hopefully this review helps others save their time from showing up. You won’t get any help. Doors are locked and signs tell you to call customer service or leave your equipment in a bin. Garbage!

Would give negative stars if I could. Horribly unreliable service, useless tech support, and overpriced. The company knows their infrastructure in this area is terrible, and they have no plans to fix it. Was told that verbatim.

My W O W experience was absolutely terrible!! It is hard to do business with someone who can't be understood. It seems that many sales folks are very unfamiliar with the products they are selling.Simply, businesses in America should ensure that they hire employees who can speak and understand ENGLISH!!...They were 2 days late with the installation. I ordered the large channel package, which was not delivered. The installer tried to hook me up with YouTube TV, and it did not work. The installer told me that new customers do not have availability to their digital packages. My question, then, is why would the person taking the order not have known this fact? The installer had to leave me with no hookup. There's a horrific lack of workplace efficiency in this country of ours. Foreigners, no personal offense to them as being humans, can actually make your head hurt in trying to over talk you with their lengthy sales pitches. Yet, in the end, the shabam comes out a total mess!!WOW's customer service has not even made any contact to try to rectify this situation. This lack of follow-up shows lack of concern toward consumer satisfaction.I am a firm believer that at times, one has to pay more to get more in our capitalist oriented country of America.

The internet works great! I barely remember that I’m paying $80/month for the service despite advertised prices. Then the internet goes out for the second time in a week. For hours.Worthless service.

The technicians from WOW were great! Had (2) visits within a few days. They were both professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. They did the installation and made sure that I was all set before leaving. I would recommend them.

I had a similar experience to other reviewers. Wow uses an overseas call center for at least some of their customer service calls, perhaps all of them. I called to cancel my service due to switching to AT&T fiber. I was given the run around multiple times where I was offered essentially the same service I have from Wow currently, for no discount whatsoever. To be fair, it wouldn't matter if the representative offered the service for free, as it's massively inferior to fiber and the speed is what matters to me not the price. Regardless, I felt like he was using the language barrier to try and pretend like I had agreed to staying with Wow. Finally I was able to convince him to cancel the service, to which he stated he would be cancelled at the end of the billing cycle (whatever), and that I would receive a box to return the modem. Well, weeks later, no box, and no cancelled service. Has seriously no one sued over these practices yet? Must just not be on Beasley Allen's radar yet, but I'm sure that will change. As far as the actual service, the speed was as advertised and there was rarely any service interruptions. 5/5 internet, 0/5 customer service.
