Worst pharmacy in Montgomery. No concept of customer service. I just set in the drive thru for 20 minutes while they let someone wait at the window.

If I could give a negative star rating I would. The pharmacy here is the worst I have ever seen at a Walgreens. They don't know how to contact the person if something is wrong with the prescription or if there is an issue. I dropped off my dogs prescription today at 1:20 came back at 5pm and they tell me it was not filled because there was no instructions on the prescription. 1st off why didn't the person taking the prescription notice or say something about 2nd when the pharmacist noticed the issue why didn't they call the vet or myself to say something is wrong but they didn't instead they wait till I come back to make me wait another 30 min before I can get it taken care of. Somebody at the corporate office of Walgreens needs to come do some more trading or something at this location. We had moved all our others prescriptions from this location because they never did anything correct. If you need your prescription filled take them to someplace more complaint and caring then this location. I hope someone from the corporate office will call me about this place.

This review is just to commend Troy. He is the absolute most efficient person who greets the customers at the drive through. He's wonderful.

Two days I’ve made the hour drive to get my son’s graduation material made. I put my order in for 100 4x6 photos. Instead of the sales lady telling me that they didn’t have whatever is needed, she told a new employee to either cancel the job if she wants or whatever. I was sitting right there. Why not tell me my photos could not be printed?

EDIT 11/02/2020 TODAY SHAY HANDLED ME WITH ABSOLUTE DISRESPECT AND ZERO EMPATHY. AFTER MY ENCOUNTER WITH HER I WILL NEVER FILL ANOTHER PRESCRIPTION AT WALGREENS AGAIN. THE FACT THAT THIS STORE IS GETTING WORSE AND WORSE IS REALLY SAD.

The wait is ridiculous. 50 minutes for 8 cars. Ignored for the first 5 in front of the window. Unacceptable.

Walgreens pharmacy is absolutely useless. Not helpful, friendly or competent. Dave yourself the headache and use another pharmacy, ANY other pharmacy!

This Walgreens is terrible!!!! No matter what tiime of day, they never have enough workers. After waiting in line for almost 30 minutes, I finally was helped to drop off my script. The pharm tech asked me if August was 08. Really?! How can a pharm tech not know the order of the months. She then advised it would be an 1.5 wait, so I went to Publix. Sadly my insurance dropped Adam's Drugs. If you can go to Adams, go! They are easy breezy- get you in and out in minutes and are so friendly! Walgreens pharmacy embodies everything that's wrong in our health care system.

We're very satisfied customers and I recommend this particular store to anyone... Friendly with everyone and even the manager will go above and beyond for the customer. Excellent!!

We just switched to Adams drugs after going through so much crap with Walgreens we couldn't take it anymore. From saying our insurance company wouldn't pay for certain medications, (which they did in fact) to taking almost 12 hours to fill two prescriptions and making THREE trips up there to get and e-mailing me saying our prescription was ready and we get up there and they don't know anything about it. I have never seen such a disorganized, unfriendly place in my life! We haven't been with Adams but a few weeks, but so far, it has been great! No problems at all. I only wish there was something less than a 1 star review.

I have been using this Walgreens for well over 10 years. In the past it was always quick and easy to get my prescriptions and the staff was helpful and friendly. It was also helpful that they were open 24 hours which came in handy after those late night ER visits. Now on to the present....the staff (with the exception of one) is always rude and acts like you are bothering them when you want to ask a question. They now close at 11 which presents a problem sometimes but I can understand the reasoning behind it. One of the pharmacists (a man that has been there for many years) will actually make comments that suggest that your question is stupid and that you should know the answer. The drive thru line is wrapped around the building 95% of the time and the line inside starts at the pharmacy counter and goes down one aisle 98% of the time. My last visit was after having some dental work done and was told to fill the pain medication that I was given and take one immediately before the numbness wore off. I took the prescription to Walgreens and told them that I would wait on it and explained the situation. I was told the wait would be 15-20 minutes which was fine because my mouth was still numb. I waited and waited and watched people who were waiting get their prescriptions. When the line died down enough that it wasn't almost to the drink machines I asked how much longer it would be because the numbness was wearing off and I was starting to feel the pain plus it had already been an hour instead of 15-20 minutes. She checked on it and said oops it was caught up because the insurance company required her to let me know that mixing the pain pills with another medicine I take could cause extreme drowsiness and thanked me for letting her know I was still waiting so that she could clear out the warning. Just a bit of info I have had pain pills prescribed before while on the other medicine and never had a problem with it being "caught up" due to a drowsiness warning. Even after she said she cleared it and it would be ready shortly it was still another hour and by this point I was in tears from the pain because the numbness was gone. The dental procedure took 45 minutes and it took 2 hours and 10 minutes to get the prescription after dropping it off. This Walgreens has become horrible to go to. Rude staff, long waits, staff claims insurance problems when in reality it's them not doing there job. Just a bit of info....I had another dental procedure done this week and since my dentist is in Prattville and I knew I would have issues with this Walgreens I went to the one in Prattville. I turned the prescription in and was told 15 minutes and it was ready in 5 and this was around 5:15 which is a busy time. The pharmacist at the Prattville location used to be at this one (Brown springs) and he recognized me and I asked why he was at Prattville now and he said he couldn't handle the unorganized, rude, and lying staff in Montgomery. He said that when he was there he did his job but also spent a lot of time "kissing butt and apologizing for things that were done or not done when he wasn't there." He also didn't have a problem with my prescription (pain medication) being "caught up" due to a drowsiness warning. I know this is an extremely long review but believe me if you are waiting at Brown springs Walgreens for a prescription you have time to read it a few times!

Fired this pharmacy after 15 plus years. The quantity was missing from my prescription. They would not call or accept a phone call from my doctor's office to get the missing quantity from the prescription. The pharmacist whom I have been dealing with for 15 years needs to be fired. He acted like he had never met me. Just plain rude!
