Sheila is awesome. The other lady, on the other hand, is extremely lazy. I run a business and my husband went to this post office today, 06/21, to drop off 4 packages. He asked the lady for a receipt, and the lady said, "next time if I have customers, I'm not going to give you a receipt." This isn't the first time that this happened. Another time my husband was there she didn't want to scan my packages even when nobody was there. Absolutely ridiculous. I am a customer too and I spend thousands of dollars on USPS every month. It's not like I'm dropping off 100 packages a day at this location. I only bring 4-5 packages a month. She's just lazy.

They will shout "we are closing down" and talk loudly about how d*** you are for the last 15 minutes through locked doors until "business hours" end and then close up shop.Packages must be received by 1620, but they also won't respond to general questions about mail or provide services. So, business hours actually end at 1615.

Like watching a glacier melt in the antarctic. The packages take forever to get sorted and marked for pickup. If your package was "delivered" to the post office, then come back 48 hrs to pick it up. They need to develop a faster mechanism to sort mail. I have a feeling they haven't changed the process since the base opened in 1910.

It is absolutely incredible how poorly run the post office is now. The amount of packages that aren't delivered because the delivery person is beyond lazy or incompetent amazes me. This particular branch is horrible. Good luck getting your package on time or even delivered. Even when they mark it as delivered, it likely won't be. Putting the apartment lockbox key in the wrong mailbox, or straight up not putting the key in the mailbox. It is pathetic. And people really want the government to run more things in our lives.

Maxwell Air Force Base is blessed to have this postal station on base. More over, we are lucky to have Shelia there. I always find reasons to ship things off because it's such a treat to just exchange pleasantries with her. Though we are going through tough times, she has made sure each and every package I have brought there (there have been hundreds) made it out expeditiously. kk

My husband was stationed there for OTS. Long story short we moved and are trying to reach the PO as they have a package of ours that we need. NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONES. Day three and still no one has answered.

This is my favorite post office location in Montgomery. Sheila is always pleasant and helpful to all patrons. I live close to another post office location and gladly drive further to use the Maxwell AFB location.

The WORST customer service ever! Not only has she (older Caucasian lady with grey hair) humiliates me EVERY TIME I’ve gone in , she Complains EVERY TIME I send a package over seas! Then she makes a public announcement to let everyone in line know that it wouldn’t be so long if it wasn’t for my packages. It’s embarrassing and disgusting. I CANT BELIEVE I had to leave “1” star cause it should be a negative star. I truly tried to have my opinion instead of listening to the online reviews, but I truly feel thier frustration with the poor service at this USPS office.
