The woman that checked us in could not have been any nicer. Room had a great layout and was clean. At 3AM our room started to flood with water from the ice maker in the refrigerator, finally got someone on the phone at 8AM. While we did our best to minimize the leak, carpet, drywall will need Servepro. Went to drop off key and coffee machine spit out a huge glob of black crap. Front desk people out of cups, too. So Management of this hotel needs work. Zero breakfast, stopped it during COVID. Just skip this place.

The room was average, and yes I seen a roach also, the wifi was terrible, and when I went back to the front desk to find out what was going on, the desk clerk or maybe the CEO was very Rude, on professional, and damn right ugly. I simply just tried to check back out 20 minutes later. I was told no matter if you stay or go we will not refund your money. I check up and my receipt still charged for both days I contacted the manager on the next business day and she was not willing to refund my money. It was stated that because the internet was not working properly, and since it was booked through booking.com I couldn't get a refund. I have put a claim through corporate office, and submitted a claim through my bank for a refund. It was a terrible experience I will never stay there again to.Before you pay please go check the room out, fully inspect it and make your decision to stay or not. If they deny that then just find another hotel. 10/18/2024

I really wish I had the option to give zero stars. This was truly the worst experience possible. We came to Montgomery for our anniversary to go to the Safari park. We arrived Friday 9/6 and the lady that checked us in was very friendly and we were encouraged, but as we got to our room that soon turned into dread. There was a person sitting on the steps smoking as soon as we arrived. We go to our room, which was ok, the carpet had stains all over it, and it literally reeked of pot. Which by the way smelled that way the entire time we were there and would be so strong when we would leave and come back to our room. It was to the point you could get a contact high. Also there was a blinking green light above our bed that almost made us believe that it was a camera. The light just blinked and did not feel right at all. We left and came back to see a man sitting on the stairs drinking with about 5 different alcoholic beverages lining up and down the stairs. We go upstairs to our room, where almost immediately we hear banging very very loud banging, this was at 7:30pm. We could not figure out where this was coming from. We then begin to hear laughing, partying, and more and more banging. This went on for 3 hours. 3 hours of the banging and banging. At 10:30pm I call the front desk and was told that a man was trying to wake his brother up and that was why he had been banging for 3 hours, after I told them I was going to call the police the lady was prompt to tell me she would handle it. 15 min later the banging did not stop and the laughing, talking, and partying just got louder, so I call the front desk again. This time Terry answered the phone and stated the man in the room was having an emergency and that is why they had been banging for 3 hours. She was very very rude to me and even hung up on me. Come to find out the next day the man inside the room below us had died in his room around 8pm. Instead of them calling the police at 7:30 pm when he would not answer the door they waited until 10:30pm to call emergency services for this man. Honestly it all sounded so sketchy. WE were not upset that the man had an emergency we were upset that they waited 3 hours to call the police, and not only that they banged on his door, was partying, and drinking in front of his hotel door for 3 hours while this poor man lay dead in the room. Why did the front desk not open the door, or break it down or something if they knew a person was in there unresponsive. So of course we got no sleep at all that night. The next morning I woke up with a terrible migraine we believe to be in part by something in the room. On Saturday we left and arrived back to our room around 2pm and was very excited to enjoy the rest of the day relaxing at the pool. I changed and went down to the pool only for the manager to tell me that the pool was closed to be cleaned and would not open the rest of the day. WOW really?? Why choose to do that on a Saturday?? So we did not even get to use the pool. We voiced our concerns about all of this to the manager and was not offered any type of compensation at all. I do believe we should have at least gotten a partial refund for all the trouble. This place is a joke and not worth it at all. Please save yourselves the headache and do not stay at this place.

The hotel was nasty ? trash was underneath cabinets toilet seat tub comforter and counter to was so black when I cleaned it. Went and reported it last same day a man said he report it but no one responded so we went to office then next day things still didn't getclean they just changed the sheets. I'll never go back. Manager told us she was going to take half off didn't do nothing but 40$.

I booked to stay two nights and had live roaches in my room. I turned the oven on thinking that the led was broken. I get closer and there were live roaches INSIDE the oven’s LED screen. The kitchen towel had old food on it. The carpet was filthy and had not been vacuumed. There was old food stuck to the sofa. But oddly enough, the room smelled of some type of cleaner with bleach. I informed the desk worker whose name I forgot. But he was an African American male. He was very apologetic and assured me a manager would call. He assisting with finding another room at their “completely booked” location. I was moved to another room only for that room's bathroom toilet to be flooded before I even got into the room. There was water already puddled on the floor. There was a sloppy caulk job at the base of the toilet which was probably the cause of the leak. At this point, the guy who originally helped was gone home. A female answered the phone number on the office door. I was told that maintenance would have to be woken up and it seemed to be a problem to have someone come right then. Then she complained that she would have to wake up her manager as well. She made me feel like I was bothering her. I was so tired from not being able to sleep in the room from the paranoia that the roaches cause in the other room, I didn’t bother to argue with her. You would think that having sewage/toilet water risking my health, that they would send someone considering how I already have to worry about whether I’ll be taking roaches back to my home where I pay each month for pest control to make sure I don’t get them at home. I have called several times and reached out on social media and have never gotta a call back from a manager or customer relations. I was told that someone would be at the desk at 7 am. I waited until 7:30 am and no one opened the door to the main desk office. I needed to be at my event at 8 am so I could not wait. I called back that afternoon after 5 after I was free and was told that the manager doesn’t answer the phone after 5 and that someone would call me in the next two days . That was on July 31. Let’s not forget the way the smell of marijuana leaked into my room from someone else at the property, I probably got a contact high. It was just that strong. I have tried to get a resolution. This is unacceptable and it was a horrible experience. I would not recommend this location to anyone! This is not a fake review and I am convinced the people who gave this place high rating were either lucky and got a good room or it’s a fake review. This is real and those pictures are real. I have video as well. Horrible!!!!!

I’m not really sure how to feel about this place.
Never stayed in a hotel that had an architecture structure of a college dorm property. It is nice that they have a full kitchen and what not but I’m just scared lol.
- They’re stains all over the carpet and curtains (no telling what it is) some of it looks like blood.
- Someone knocked on our door that I know wasn’t staff but the point is we know no one here
- It’s spacious and pretty but I believe one of the whole points of a hotel is to be able to sleep and because of the hotels first impressions I barely got any good sleep.
-There’s a monitor by the fire alarm that keeps blinking two lights which is playing with my mind that it’s a camera, even if it’s just a low battery.
-The crazy part about it all is that there’s response to all these negative reviews dating back to months and months ago and these issues still remain

I’m writing in hopes the main manager sees this. My name is dejon Harrison. I checked into the resident June 26 with check out June 28th I paid a 250 deposit. CASH when I went to check out at 9:00 pm on June 28th I asked for my deposit back. I was told I had to call back in the morning because there was no one available to give me my CASH deposit back. Mind you I HAD to leave out that night! I been calling EVERY DAY for my deposit back today is JULY 12 th. Every days the female Gm who sits in the office (I don’t know her name I’m trying to respectfully describe her) but she tells me every day that she will even mail me my deposit or go load the money on my Cash app. She has not done so she told me that I was being disrespectful for Money back. I’ve been very respectful and I’ve been getting the runaround about getting my money back. I am starting to think that she is pocketing my money because she thinks I am unavailable to get it. She also advised me that it was my fault for leaving without my deposit when I came for my deposit when I was checking out and they told me that they couldn’t give it to me because the office was closing and all the cash was locked in the office. I have gotten no resolution and I still have not gotten my money back. I think she blocked my number from calling the office because every time I call no one is answering the phone. She told me that she would give my information to her manager and he would call me. The manager has not called me. It has been three days since she said this. I am left to believe that she is trying to pocket my money. I literally had to leave a Google review because when I called the office, no one is answering because I guess they see my caller ID. I just need my $250 deposit back, I hope the main manager sees this message because if not, I will go to the Better Business Bureau and let them know that the manager there is stealing. She literally told me that she will escalate this issue to her boss and that he would call back the same day. I never heard back from him or her. It’s been almost a month since I left the location without getting my money back please someone contact me about this situation. As I stated before, when I tried to call the location, they do not answer the phone for me or they hang up in my face.
She also told me it was my fault because I checked out at 9pm when the office are closing. I think that’s wrong becaUse why should I have to check out at a certain time to get my deposit back. I should be able to check out at any time. Please whoever the manager is at this location contact Me about this! Your managers are purposely not answering the phone !

Although I wish, for the sake of the lovely staff, I could leave a positive review, I can not. The room smelt heavily of cannabis, there were dark stains on the carpet & on the sofa bed mattress, there were hookers being picked up when we checked in, several people mulling about that obviously reside there full time & cop cars frequently circling the building. Most importantly, upon check in, we were told the key card system didn't work and we had to be let in by staff every time we would come or go. We walked in & immediately walked back out. Luckily the staff were understanding of the situation and refunded us without issue but if I knew in advance on what to expect, I would most definitely have chosen to stay at the Courtyard just down the street & cutting our stay in Montgomery down by a day due to safety issues.
Safety: Not a safe neighbourhood. Stay elsewhere

-Door rooms locks are broken
- floors have stains (possibly blood)
- room had a very bad odor
- refrigerator is leaking
- ice
- lots of noise from the parking lot throughout the night
- office was closed and we couldn’t properly check out due to no staff being on duty
- and many other issues.
