Just left the Ross on Ann Street the customer service in there is awful. We walk up to the register with our items. There’s a lady standing over there putting merchandise on a rack. Doesn’t acknowledge us anything. A young guy comes through the door that works there goes to another register so we think he’s the one gonna check us out we even ask him he mumbles yeah so we move over there. Only then does the lady decide to finally say no he doesn’t check you out. I do but yet continues to do finish what she’s doing And then say oh and you gotta come over here to the other register.

There are Marshall and TJMaxx nearby, and compared to those stores, the clothing and other brand values here might be lower. However, the prices are unbeatable for the value. The store isn’t well-organized, so you need to take your time to find good items. Personally, I like their imported groceries (like sesame seeds, ginger powder, pho ingredients), so I drop by occasionally.

Recently I visited the Prattville store and it is a MESS! Looks like everything was just thrown in. I don't know if they were in the process of straighting up, but I hope so.

Didn't have any dressing rooms open on Saturday afternoon. Idk how anyone's expected to buy anything when you can't try anything on

I was able to find what I needed however the checkout line was really long and they needed more cashiers to check people out.

My 2 year old daughter was holding a pink ball while sitting in the shopping cart. An employee came up to us and said she had to take the ball away from her & put it at the counter if we did not intend to purchase it. We were allowing our kids to pick one thing at the store to purchase and the ball was a contender so we told them we were going to buy it. Our little girl was not throwing or dropping the ball, she was quietly sitting with it. I have no idea what prompted the power trip but taking the ball from our toddler, for absolutely no reason, would have likely caused her to cry and make our shopping experience miserable- even if we weren’t considering buying it. Our kids ended up wanting to trade the ball for a candy instead. We took the ball to the counter instead of leaving it on a random shelf. The employee that attempted to take the ball from us slammed another ball on the checkout counter and said “they said they’re buying the ball, use this price for it” we then informed them that the kids changed their minds and we could overhear the ball police bad mouthing us to another worker while we finished checking out. All of this happened in front of our 4 young children. It was a really bizarre way to bully a customer.
