It was pretty good, but they've been adding HIGHLY questionable security decisions as well as screwing up badly on their website 2 factor security. For instance, if you attempt to login online, you will simply not get the 2 factor message the first time and you will have to wait 3 minutes in order to tell it to send it again. Then it'll send it for the first time, not again.
Then if you try to call, they can tell you're calling from your phone and probably a member, but they ask for the last 4 of your social anyway. THEN they ask for your freaking debit card PIN code, on an UNSECURED / UNENCRYPTED cell phone connection. How STUPID are their security people, what is this?

I had the worst experience last weekend. I was coming from Mobile to go to Atlanta so I decided to put some money in my account for a bill. I went through the drive through atm and deposited 2 $100 bills and a $20 bill at the side atm it spit out $120 and didn’t give me $100 back and also didn’t give me a receipt. The atm didn’t want to give me my card back also. I’m waiting on NFCU to role back cameras are etc. This has been the worst experience I have ever had with Navy Federal they need to get those atms fixed. I was able to deposit the $120 in the front atm but please don’t go to the ones on the side of the building. I’m like JG Wenthworth I want my money and I want it now!

Deposited a check on the 6th to be told I can't receive any money till Saturday the 14th? That's more than 5 business days. I call to see what was wrong I get told my check is being held due to not having enough information to deposit it! Really? But 225 was add to my account? Why and you don't have enough information to deposit my check? But the representative can tell me my funds will be released Saturday? Lies lies and more lies please go else where don't waste your time!!!

I just wish NFCU will extend a branch in the Birmingham AL area! We need more than 2 Navy Federal Credit Union in the State Of Alabama.

I have been with NFCU for 4 years in that four years my check is deposit. They allow checks to bounce where they have the money, need offer me any loans other than to loan me my own money and charge me interest. That's not helping but has made me think is it sane to allow someone to misused your money and claim you are valued. I my but I only have lost of funds to unauthorized charges, giving you provisional credit for someone stealing my money then decide to allow them to then just reverse their decision and reclaim my money just give companies like WALMART AND ENTERPRISE RENT A CAR just right out stealing my money but that is ok. So I do not feel valued I feel used.

Always slow. Got rid of the drive through lanes. So now you either wait in line for an ATM machine that will most likely be broken or in a long line for 3 tellers.

I don’t understand how there is 3 atms and only one seems to work everytime you go, and somehow the drive through atm never accepts deposits

They definitely need more locations. On the weekends, only one ATM be working when it’s 3. It’s such an inconvenience knowing this branch is huge. Parking area already small. It shouldn’t be no reason there’s 10 people standing in line to use one ATM when there’s 2 more but they don’t work. On the weekends, the drive thru ATM doesn’t accept deposits. This really about me to make my close my account and bank elsewhere because this is an ongoing issue with Navy Federal.

Online banking lacks so far behind the others, go with capital One or USAA. I will say, when you are FINALLY able to talk to someone, they are nice and knowledgeable, again when you get to talk to someone.

Great team at the bank. Representatives went above and beyond to help me sort an issue regarding auto loan POA delivery issues between the local branch and the HQ department.

Walked in to pick up my pre approved check that is "available immediately " and was told it would be a 45 minute wait... To print a check... It has been an hour and I'm still waiting.
