My mom and I have been going to nail city for a while now that I’ve started my natural manicure journey. Well, on 5/25/24 that has came to an end. I was given services by Ms. Sue and it was a disaster. I asked for a mani fill in and a cut down and polish change on my toes. Ms. Sue was rushing so as she’s doing my nails she keeps running up my cuticles making it hurt. I told her and she gets an attitude. After she’s done she does my feet which was okay but I then spoke up about my nails. (While she was doing my toes). I then walked over to my mom to explain the situation. Ms. Sue and the mngr then gets irritated cause I’m talking to my mom about the situation(the mngr was doing my mom’s nails.) He then gets angry tries rushes me away from my mom so Ms. Sue can fix my nails. (Which I didn’t let them fix). I then paid, tipped & left & went to another shop to get BETTER services. 0/10 do not recommend this place.

Very poor service by the owner. I received 3 services and the one the owner did was the worst. I wanted a manicure but he just came over and started polishing my nails. Did not confirm what I asked for or anything. Did not shape or anything. Just put the gel polish on my nails. The job was very rushed. I spent $150 on 3 services and was in there for 2hrs and a half. I went back the next day due to my polish peeling the same day and my the next day polish was completely off of 2 nails. 5 nails were chipped. I went back and let him know. He says do I mine waiting, I said may I have a refund. He says give him 20mins. I wait 20mins then he says give him 5 more. He then ask someone else to fix my nails. He told her to fix the 2 nails not noticing the 5 others. I showed her the others and she removed the polish off those. It was then I said are you going to remove the last 3 bc I am going out of town and don’t feel comfortable with keeping them. She said she wasn’t so I asked for a refund again. She went ahead and removed. I decided to get another color, the owner then comes over and says I will need to pay more. I spent $150 plus tipped $20 to have to come back another day and spend another 45mins in your establishment for something you did an extremely poor job on and you have a problem with me changing my color. He said it was only two nails messed up and I said no it was more. Give me my refund. He preceded to the register threw my money on the counter and told me to go on. You do poor work on my nails, never acknowledge it, and tell me to go on is crazy to me. But I will never spend another penny in that place and will make sure to tell all my family and friends that I know go there to never go again. If you are considering here, don’t go. Master Nails is right down the road. They have much better service. This owner is very disrespectful and did very poor work on my nails.

This is the worst place I have ever gone to to get my nails done,this person by the name of Lan, left my feet in water and it had gotten cold, she came back after 45 minutes, I refuse to get them done because this was extremely rude, horrible, and very bad business practices, she had a horrible attitude, and she didn't speak English, Ictold the manager and the owner, and they were hostile and had a horrible attitude, this is the worst nail business ever, and I don't recommend this place to no one, because they are a bad, horrible and rude business. I regret going there, I was mistreated and they all were very rude and hostile. The worst ever!

NAILS CITY 1 on Perry Hill Road in Montgomery, Al, I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT! My elderly mother was given a gift certificate for Christmas that expired June 9, 2024. I called for an appointment on June 11 but was denied because of the 2 day lapse. I explained that she is elderly and has been on a walker for some time and had fallen recently, to no avail. Basically, he said no exceptions. Now, I could understand if it was a month out of date, but 2 days, I really have a hard time with this under the circumstances. If he treats potential customers like this, what kind of attitude and loyalty does he really have to his actual customers. We will never find out. Hopefully, you will protest them also! As I’m read the reviews, I saw a lot of displeased customers. I suggest you read them as well.

This is to the manager. First, let me be clear about one thing. Nina is and has always been my nail tech. I have followed her all over Montgomery throughout the years and will continue to do so because I feel she knows me, my likes and she takes the time to make sure I am satisfied. I have an emergency and had to come on today, Sunday. I came in today for a mani/pedi. I was informed by her that Sundays are walk-ins only but to just tell you that I wanted to be seen by her. I am a senior citizen with severe back issues. I was the first person there in the parking lot but the shop was closed so I sat in the car. I got out about 10:55 but I did not know that people would rudely rush past you to get inside. I was the first person here; however, I had to sit and was not seen by Nina until 12:30. The person she had to wait on first was actually the 4th person to get here! I blame no one but what upset me was that you did not give me the chance to talk and explain to you. It probably would not have made a difference to you, but still, I feel you should have given me the chance. I love your establishment and I’ll continue being a customer (as long as Nina is there)however, I now know, because of my age and health issues, to never come on walk in days and to only come when I make appointments. A word of advice from an elderly person… sometimes, take time to listen to your customers. Not all people are mean, rude and demanding. You have a beautiful establishment and I wish you well on your continued success. You can lose customers having a bad attitude.

Great service. Customer oriented, they actually cater to your needs. The management is professional and caring. There is not a long wait. I really like the beautiful setting. So clean and organized. Each technician is well skilled for your needs.
