Worse experience I ever had in my life with a mechanic shop. I have dealt with shade tree mechanics that have better customer service than this. My car wouldn't go into park because my shifter cable was broken. He charged me $69.99 for a diagnostic just to tell me the same thing. He said the job would only take a hour or two. Said he'll give me $35 off which I never seen. He said I'll have to come pay for my part so he can order it. I went and paid $316 to order my part here said it'll take four days to get here. I never heard from them on day four. So I called in day six and my part been sitting there since Monday. I called Wednesday. I took my car up there Thursday. So I could have it back before I get off. I pick up my car and pay the remainder of the $300 for labor. I get in my car my neutral light and drive light not lighting up when it's in gear. I drive down the street and it's not shifting like it suppose to. Friday morning I take it back. The mechanic that worked on it says the owner told you to come get it. I had all your stuff out your car. He was rushing me, I can't work like that. I'm looking for another job. He just all over the place. Which none of that had anything to do with me. I was concerned about my car what did you do. I came for one simple piece. He said there's something broke in my assembly some small piece but I can drive it. I drive off broke down at CVS. I called the owner he gives me a tow truck guy number that kept going to voicemail. So I had to get the car there myself. The owner told me let him fix the problem. He'll order the part I'll get my car back Monday. I called Tuesday to get a update because it's a habit of there's not calling customers back to give them updates or status on the progress. He said the part wasn't there. I called back Thursday the part was there and they'll put it on and I'll get my car back. They called me back later Thursday to tell me they wasn't putting the part on because I needed a transmission. My mechanic told me to go get my car. Because I didn't have any of those problems they was suppose to do one simple hour Job if it took a hour. I asked was my car drivable because I drove it up there. He said yes. I pulled out the parking lot went down the service road it started jerking and wouldn't drive. I couldn't give it no gas to go. I pulled in the career center two doors down. Tried to back up now it won't go into reverse. I broke down two doors down car in worse shape then it went up there. Just getting off work got to pick up my kid from school but broke down waiting on a tow truck. They knew they messed up my car and sent me off like that after pocketing $700 for sabotaging my car. I wish I could give negative stars. I feel like I was taken advantage of. I watched my car sit in the same spot for a week everyday I passed the shop. Then the day I was suppose to get it back it needs a transmission. I wouldn't recommend anybody to this shop. I'm getting a second opinion to see what exactly was done to my car. I go from driving to Selma from Montgomery every weekend to my car can't make it two doors down. I would not recommend anybody to this establishment ever.

Car still not repaired after 3 almost 4 months with no update. Do not use this location. I agree Mr Gray is nice but when you need your car nice does not cut it. I won’t go further at this moment but I will say Owner do not try to deny the facts. that you and your company have terrible customer service, repair skills along with poor communication skills. Prove me wrong by repairing my car, then I will give 5 stars. What standards? Car still there not repaired no communication about time frame of repair. My advice spend more time repairing people cars and stop worrying about bad reviews. The absolute worst customer service. Parking lot full of cars not repaired. I advised Mr Gray I was more than willing to pay whatever to get repaired, instead I kept getting excuses. They left it in worser condition than when I took it. If you repair people's cars the work would speak for itself. Thanks!! Do not go here.

Hands down the worst on going experience of my life took my car in on a Monday was told it would be 3 days to replace transmission didn't get my car back for 10 days then when I got it back it started smoking before I could get down the street called and Mr Gray had it pulled it ran fine for exactly 3 days and I paid over 4grand for the transmission install and now it's down again and I've had it back less than a week this is by far the biggest pain in the a** Although Mr Gray is a nice guy his mechanics sucks and I need answers and my D*MN car fixed RIGHT! Or just give me my money for labor back and I'll take it to the dealership where apparently I should've gone from the beginningService: Transmission

Poor customer service work ethic and integrity. Quote on Quote repaired my transmission vehicle broke down the next day. Vehicle towed back to shop to repair strong armed me for more money after paying 4000. Vehicle is currently parked in my yard called him he said I had electrical issues. I would never go back there mistreat ladies said my tire tore wire harness a loose.Service: Transmission

My experience with this location was great! We were on our way to the beach for a family vacation and our 2016 Yukon XL began to have what we thought was transmission issues. After calling around several locals recommended Mr. Transmission. We made arrangements to drop it off on a Saturday (a day they are closed). Someone was there to receive our car and get our info. We ended up renting a call so they could look/work on it all week while we were at the beach. They kept us updated with the issues and ended up putting in a rebuilt transmission. The price was in range with other place (back home). They had the repairs done in a week and we picked it back up on a Saturday (again made special arrangements since they were closed). They were all so great, professional and did great work. We are on our way home and all is good!!!! God bless this business!!!Service: Transmission

In July, I asked them to fix my car. They charged me $3,411. When I came back to collect it, it was fixed but the car would still stop randomly. The car light was on. In September, it broke down again so I brought the car to them for them to fix it. It had the same issue as when I went in to have them fix it in July. They told me they will get a new part to fix it.When I asked them, they said they are waiting for the part to come in. I waited a long time and they keep saying they are fixing it, whenever I called them. In November, they told me they have not fixed it. They lied to me saying they will fix it. They just left my car there. They could not find what was wrong with it. Afterwards, I found out they lied and they didn't order the new part and wasn't planning on fixing it. In the 2-3 months they had my car, I still had to pay the insurance. Even if the car had no problems, just leaving a car there for 2-3 months would ruin the car. They couldn't't find what was wrong with it and they had BMW to diagnose it. They called me and told me it was the Most Bus that was down. They would me it was cost around $400-500. I told them that it has the same issues as before. I told them that it most likely wasn't the part they had fixed as it has the same issues and could have just been the Most bus. They told me they will fix it for free but then once they fixed it, they asked me to pay the money. I am really pissed as they was their problem that they could not fix it not mine. They told me at the beginning there is a warranty of 1 year. They told me they will give me $200 to rent a car but never gave that money.
