We love Dr. Armstrong. He's thorough, honest, and communicates well. Nigel is a senior schnauzer mix and I knew his accidents in the house yesterday were not behavioral. I called for an appointment and was seen within the hour. In house lab work was speedy and discovered that our little guy is diabetic. The team took ample time preparing us for his future care. We have administered insulin shots at home with great success. We know he's on borrowed time but thankful none the less. Thanks MVA!

When my wife and I relocated from Las Vegas, we sought a veterinary clinic we could trust with the care of our beloved pet. We were fortunate to find MVA and Dr. Meeks. From the beginning, the staff and Dr. Meeks made both me and my Abby feel completely at ease. Over time, their genuine affection for Abby became evident, and I knew she was in excellent hands. I placed my complete trust in the entire team. Recently, I lost my dear Abby, and although the pain is profound, I find comfort in knowing that she received the best possible care from Dr. Meeks and the staff at MVA. I highly recommend them.

We have been using Montgomery Veterinary Associates since moving to Montgomery 6 years ago. They have given superb and compassionate care to all of our pets. All of the staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and we especially love Dr Williford.

This is the most caring place to take your fur babies. In 16 years of having pets I've gone all over Montgomery and Prattville. I'm so fortunate and blessed to find this place. It has been the best. Our veterinary Dr well, she's absolutely perfect. Thank you for caring so much.

I was very pleased with my first visit in treating my doodle for a UTI, but very unhappy with my experience with my 14 year old Lab. He is having massive issues at home that tell me his quality of life is low, and I also do not make that much money on my own, so I saved up to be able to take him in to get fully checked out. I spent almost $600, and had them do blood work and all, and was basically told he’s perfectly healthy. I was told one of his organs looks like it could be failing and told me I needed to spend over $100-$150 more to be able to have a definite answer. What?? What was the point of the massive cost for the first blood work then? My dog has hip dysplasia and is already losing massive amounts of muscle in his lower end, and I told them I’m pretty sure he needed pain medication, and had to ask that they write me a prescription. I had to ask.
My dog is struggling at home and I trusted this office when they first told me everything was fine, but it doesn’t feel like they cared or gave me an honest answer. It felt scripted, and they were pushing this new monthly shot for pain in every conversation that I can’t afford. I called back last week to ask if I could speak to someone for a second opinion, since it wasn’t sitting right with me, and was never called back.
My dog had an episode again this morning so I called when they opened, and was told they will call back ASAP or end of the day, and STILL haven’t been called back!
For me being new to this vet, I’m already heavily disappointed. Very kind people work up front, but what is going on with the communication? Why do I need to spend over $500 to be told nothing??

I can’t not overstate how good the folks here are. When I moved to Montgomery a decade ago finding a good vet came before I found my own doctor. Over the last 10 years they have helped me say goodbye and welcomed each new member of my pack. I have seen all the vets at least once but Dr Williford and Dr Mac have really been such good docs to my pets.

I have lived in 10 different states and this is hands down the best vet clinic I have ever been to. I was a new client calling in an emergency for my cat who hadn't ate or drank in days and they got me in within 2 hours. Dr. Meeks genuinely cares about people and pets, she came in on her day off to give my cat extra fluids without charge. She does extra research to make sure that you're informed before making a decision about procedures. I'm moving to a place that requires extensive paperwork for pets and she went above and beyond to do the homework for me and made my life so much easier in a very crazy moving process. Dr. Meeks is the real MVP, best vet I've ever had and always puts pets first. Wish they made more like her.
