New to Montgomery. Always been a Lowe's fan. Actually drove across town to go to a Lowe's, despite a Home Depot much closer to home. Did an online purchase, which wasn't ready until the following day, despite the online site claiming it would be ready the same day. No problem, came back next day. Items in locker. Cool. Then, decided to return the items, didn't really need them anymore. The line for returns was long, people in line look frustrated. I'm currently so far back, that people coming into the store are between me and the long line. You would think they would get some help, since it's all just simple returns. Same person in line, same service rep. No expansion of the line or additional help. Weird. Now, finally, a nice older lady coming to help with returns. She's done four patalready.

Don't go to this one expecting any assistance. Two different people could not find anyone working in air conditioning today.

I wonder why there is such wonderful customer service here. It wasn't like this in the not so distant past. What changed? Anyone know?

If you want hardware, they have it. If you need help, go to Home Depot. Rude and disrespectful from the time I walked in to the time I left my cart in the aisle and went a block down to Home Depot. I'm a home remodeler in the area, spend thousands of dollars a year at hardware stores, and I won't be back unless I absolutely have to.

Ok. This is absurd. I ordered a washer and a dryer. I picked up the washer. The dryer was for delivery. Delivery people came and apparently the woman helping me had ordered a washer instead. I called the store 2x and both times I was either talked over by the rep or hung up on. I went up there and the woman at the appliances desk said the truck would return at 8 and she would call me to get it exchanged and set a new delivery date for my damn dryer. Go figure, it's 8pm and she's gone and no one is answering. Y'all royally messed this up and aren't even trying to help or even apologize. I just want this fixed and to be done with this damn store.

Lowe's in Montgomery Alabama should discontinue the curbside service program. Used it on the last two occasions and the service was subpar. Prior to this, I had good service and the wait time was less than 15 minutes. The first occasion, I ordered my products and went to pick them up at 7:00pm. I checked in with the app and waited. After 15 minutes I returned to the app and put my information in again and waited another 15 minutes. Then I called into the store. The sales associate informed me that the Curbside attendant clocked out at 5:00pm and no one would come out, but I could come in and get the items. I explained that I could not lift the items. The sales associate then told me that I could come back tomorrow. I explained to the associate that the app did not give 5pm as the last hour for curbside service and I needed the items purchased. After a few minutes she huffed into the phone and said a manager would bring out the order. Okay. Fine. 40 minutes past no order. Went into the store to inquire and the manager has to go and shop for the order! Why? My order was ready per the Lowe's app. The manager brought out my order, and I inquired why did she have to shop for the order. She said she did not know the location of the order in the garden center. The next time ordering through the Curbside service was today. I placed the order two days earlier and arrived at 11:00am. I used the app to check in. Waited 15 minutes, then called into the store. The sales associate informed me that my order was ready and would be brought out to me in 10 minutes. Fine, but I waited 20. No one comes out, I go inside and complain, NO ONE HAS PROCESSED MY ORDER! I then was told to go back to my car and drive around to the garden center. Why have a service that's not honored. Tried to offer my feedback at the listed number for Lowe's via the app, and again, waited 45 minutes with no one picking up the phone. Do not use curbside service from Lowe's. It is not convenient and with the wait time, you might as well shop in the store.

Absolutely the worst cashier I have ever encountered. Rude, rude, rude!! She never uttered one word. I said hello and never received anything even resembling a response. The large items I was purchasing were to awkward to put on the check out counter due to the plexiglass so I asked if she could scan them with the scan gun. She rolled her eyes and the walk around the counter appeared to be a strenuous one, still never uttering a word. When she finished scanning the items I was purchasing, she leaned back and just stood there. Of course I could see the total, it's just that most professional retail outlets inform their customers of the total during the checkout process. It's really not much of a stretch for most companies or their employees. I thought it was customary to relay the total verbally to the customer, apparently not there. She just stood back with arms folded. I know she was able to speak because she was speaking to her co workers as I approached. I work in the customer service field and would definitely not want someone like her representing my organization. I CHOOSE where I want to spend my money and I definitely will NOT ever choose to spend my money at that store again! No excuse for such rude behavior.

This location had the Worse customer service ever. I m from Florida and shop at Lowe's all the time. I went to buy 4 bag of potting soils. There was these plastic bags in roll placed by the soils, so I took 2, thinking that it was to put soil bags in so customers don't make a mess in their car. A lady employee came over and literally demanded that I give it back after I already put bags of soil in them and had it in my cart. She then took the used bag and put it back to the roll so another person can reuse it. Spreading Covid!! She did explain that it should only be use if soil bags were ripped. I told her I didn't know that but she insisted I give the bags back. I was with my son so I didn't want confrontation. Montgomery store really need to be selective when hire.

Very poor customer service. Ordered cabinets at 8am for in store pick up. Called around 11 to see if they were ready. No luck and customer service representative was rude. Get there around 12:30 to see if order was ready. No one even bothered to pull it. Customer service rep goes to get order pulled. They missed one cabinet and and gave me the wrong size for another. I am glad I double checked!!! No apologies or even have a nice day when I leave after 2 hours. Employees get off your Iphones and do your job!!! This Lowes really sucks!!

Only had two items. One clerk standing at register but needed another employee to log her in-said just a minute. So I stepped over to the adjacent register. At the same time a customer that was friends with these two clerks steps up to the logged out one. Now my cashier abandons me to help the other cashier log in to assist their "buddy". After she rings up my purchase and I pay with the credit card, I had to grab my items and put them in a bag myself!? Do these people have any clue as to what the f&@"$k they're doing?! Would have gone to competitor but only Lowe's had the stuff I was after. I will look for self checkout (if there is a next time) as I nearly had to do it myself anyway.

I mean, Lowe's in Montgomery is kind of known for its horrible customer service. The employees are poorly trained, the lines are long because hardly any checkouts are open. Lowe's is known as the hardware store you go to if you already know what you want and don't need help. But for any reason you do need help, it's going to take awhile.

The customer service for this location is HORRIBLE!!!! If you order anything for delivery, please be prepared to wait all day at home. The store does not give any type of ETA or time frame as to when to expect the guys at your house. The only assurances they can give is someone will call you when they're enroute to your home. If it wasn't for the fact I got such a good deal on my items, I would cancel my order and ask for a refund.

I have always had a place in my heart for Lowe's to get some of my appliances, but after my trip there I was highly disappointed! My sister and I had to make a trip to Lowe's to see if they could help us repair our lawnmower. We were walking around the store and not even once did a sales associate try to approach us and offer help. When we got to the front desk, the young man working behind it didn't even step up to great us nor did he offer any help. We had to get his attention to finally get help to fix the lawnmower. He told us to go to a desk at the other side of the store, and when we arrived there the workers told us that was incorrect and to go back up front. We come back and the young man is gone and we question two more workers. Finally they tell us that they do not repair lawnmowers there. Now I don't have a problem with the fact that they don't repair lawnmowers. My problem is that they should have better costumer service.
