I would give 0 stars if I could, but it's not possible.Over the years I had this agent, I received not one service. I did not receive insurance cards. When I had to remove a vehicle and add another but had moved (this was the last opportunity for this agent to be useful), as soon as the office heard that I wanted to move agents, they put it into the system to be moved without offering to take the car I no longer owned off and put the truck on first, leaving me with an uninsured truck for 48 hours and still paying for a car I no longer had.The same can be said for the house I had insured under them. When I put in a claim, they did not offer to help, it all fell to the central people. When I called to ask for references to contractors, they knew no one. When I called multiple times asking for any assistance whatsoever, they gave me a contractor who did not return phone calls. Finally, instead of offering any assistance, they showed up around my house looking for a way to deny insurance all the while knowing I'm trying to take care of real issues that they did not do anything about whatsoever.I cannot recommend this agent and I'm not sure I can recommend State Farm.------------Edit: I see the response. Now, anyone at central can see that this is the email I have registered in the system. There are probably very few people with the actions on the system to the account described above. Jan Carpenter's response was that she couldn't see me in the system. Either this is absolutely dishonest, or she's sidestepping, knowing that moving me to a different agent simply takes me off her visibility (still dishonest). Either way, everyone note what just happened here.Further detail: If your only action during years of being an agent for a customer is sending emails with card pictures, a programmer can replace you with a few minutes of work for all time. If that's the only thing you do, then maybe you can print those cards and mail them so the customer doesn't have to rely on an internet connection or go do your job for you and print it out. If you can't develop actions to alleviate common problems with houses in Alabama (piping under concrete built in during construction that is very hard to maintain), then what are you doing? If your central system as an insurance company makes an account inaccessible for 48 hours simply by moving it from one agent to another, that's a bad system.

We have had State Farm Insurance on our home, boat and vehicles for over 15 years now, since we left the other company. Jan and Timberly have a true pleasure to work with. I have had claims on our home and on our cars, and all of it was handled with a quickness. I never had to call and ask what the status of a claim was. I also received excellent on rates for my classic cars! If you want the runaround and delays on your claims, stay where you are. If you want first class as in CUSTOMER SERVICE, call Timbery or Jan.

I call State Farm ans spoke with Rae. She was very polite and very knowledgeable about what I was inquiring about. I went by there today and everything was done. Hassle free. Also, the rates are exactly what I was looking for.

I absolutely love Jan. I switched over to her from a different State Farm agent and I am so glad that I did. As a business owner I appreciate that she values my time and is efficient. She knows what all I juggle and she handles all the COI requests from customers in a very timely manner and they are always correct. She takes my calls, replies to my emails, and is always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend her for personal and business policies.

Jan and Timberly go above and beyond. They have handled merging my policies with my new husband's policy, while answering all of our questions. Claims are handled quickly and painlessly. We cannot be happier with the service we receive!

Timberly made switching insurances from another state a BREEZE. She made what I thought would be a miserable experience a laugh filled friendly conversation. She walked me through all the types of coverage and discounts and how they varied from my home state. I am a very picky person and have high expectations for customer service and they blew me out of the water. took 40 mins and it felt like 10 mins
