The sales manager and representative refused to negotiate with me on trade, then deducted my tires from the trade in value which were rotated and balanced last week with “at least 6 months to a year left on the front and more than a year left on the rear tires.” My trade in is in perfect condition and they tried to low ball me at average to rough trade in value, in reference to resale value private it was literally, abysmal. Mind you they already promised a trade in value before my little feet walked on the lot. Then once I got there… immediately to numbers.. I had not asked for… and was no where close to the deal I planned on making.. picking a totally different car already, different loan options, periods etc, they kept playing the take money from here but put it here game, giving me roughly the same deal. Apparently they think I’m ignorant. I even had my partner run the trade car over as a convenience before their used car “inspector” had left for the day.
I was up front and honest with them about every single inch of my part of the deal, from credit to trade value (I’m an insurance adjuster who is well aware of a cars actual market cash value within a hundred mile radius.) My sales rep advised he had to leave at 5, understandable as it was family related, but then didn’t even want to bother placing me with someone else. Yes, their hours are past 5 and I had been trying to communicate with them ALL day. Once there, I never got to look at the vehicle I was dealing on, and the sales manager at the time refused to speak with me. I am in NO way running my credit until purchase… because It will affect my credit…I’m very careful with my scores to keep it average-good. (Student loans.) I’m also aware that they usually put new tires on almost all newer trades due to risk, as well as a benefit for the used car buyer, or that use to be standard practice. That’s what I was told in 2019… further my car has every single maintenance service record and is garage kept, they treated it like a 2008 farm truck that was used to haul hay. I only want a bigger vehicle to carry family with more space as my parents and in laws are important to me. I pride myself in taking care of my vehicles.
The rep and sales/finance manager were anything but honest with me. It felt shady. I’ve worked special investigations in insurance, and ALL signs pointed to dishonesty in non verbals and how they spoke with me. When I told them Serra and Royal VW told me they could beat this deal as I spoke with them as well… the rep demanded I send him the sheet to find any additional deals. Which side note, they barely even sent me home with a paper, much less doing anything two hours away with someone else. Why would they ask for that? Borderline calling me a liar? Rude? However, I was nice in my emails and just advised my rep that If anything changes for them to let me know, otherwise I’m picking up a new atlas from Birmingham tomorrow. My rep did want me to come back in, but then continued down the half information and vague road we were already chugging along on. I’m 36 and have purchased 4 other VW’s I don’t have time to entertain the rep or the sales/finance managers ego’s. I’ve also sent so many people to jack ingram in our area because my last experience, but I certainly won’t anymore.
I live across the road in a family home, was prepared to do what they asked as long as they met me in the middle, but I felt like I was more of a bother for them, than for them to actually sell a vehicle. I was so wrong for being naive. Something is different than before, and it ain’t me.
Turns out the sale is statewide, and I have plenty of money for gas and kindness. Also the other dealers advised they would even go and find the vehicle for me… to spec… exactly what I wanted. Be better Jack Ingram. I will only be using Yall for service on my new VW and I may even still drive to Birmingham for that, even though I can see your business from my backyard!

One of the easiest vehicle buying experiences ever. They were running a great deal, and I was able to get everything financed during the week, and drive down to pick it up on the weekend. Jesse F is an awesome sales person to work with, as is their finance team.

Joe was my salesman he was very understanding and knowledgeable the process was very smooth drove 2 1/2 hours to pick up my new vehicle everything thing went smooth even down to the finance part. I didn’t have to spend all day in a dealership lol I will definitely be back and will refer family and friends. Ask for Joe he’s the Guy!!!! Jack Ingram VW Rocks!!!! : )

I have nothing but the highest praise for Mr. Bryan Tross. I had a family emergency and needed to get into a vehicle I could afford. I explained what I wanted and Bryan worked with me to get the car and payment I needed. Bryan was so thoughtful, kind and professional throughout the transaction. I was under a ton of stress and he did everything he could to not add to my pain. Instead, he was a calming presence when I needed it most. I wasn't just a number to him, I was family and I appreciate that from the bottom of my heart. I sincerely hope Bryan is recognized for the above and beyond service he provided. For instance, I was busy making my beloved husband's funeral arrangements and he delivered the car to my home. He did so much more and it is my sincere hope that he is recognized for that. I have called Bryan Tross and expressed the thoughts and heartfelt thank you I've expressed here. He has truly found his calling. What an asset he is to Jack Ingram Motors. Please give him the recognition he deserves.

Purchased a new Jetta SE from Jack Ingram VW. The purchase process was very easy, no hassle, and a no pressure atmosphere. My salesman, Jessie was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions and most of all very patient allowing me to test drive several Jettas by myself, so I could really get a feel for the car. Patrick the sales manager worked with me and got the OTD price I was after. Overall a fantastic experience.
