“My go to stop when traveling from Atlanta to the Gulf, so clean, always an attentive staffer on duty, extra clean rooms and bathrooms. What's not to love? It's also in a nicer area of Montgomery with plenty of shopping and dining spots.”

Rooms: We had a suite with a King size bed and small kitchen where you can cook.
Nearby activities: The Rosa Park Museum and Hank Williams Museum are within walking distance.

“We booked our stay through Priceline but something happened on Priceline’s end and the reservation was not received at the hotel. The Embassy Suites staff were wonderful. They did all they could for us to help resolve the issue. They took care of us as we waited for Priceline to fix the issue. “My husband and I came for a quick overnight stay to celebrate our honeymoon after 5 yrs of not getting to take one due to kids, work and life in general. The hotel is in a great location felt very safe with security cameras everywhere. The young lady when we checked in was fantastic. Our room was nice but the a/c did not work great. Had to lower ours down to 60 to get it semi comfortable. Bed was fantastic and comfortable. Breakfast was a little disappointing but for the value it was ok. Would stay here again.”

“Stayed here through hurricane milton since me and my family are from Florida and it was great, the rooms were big enough to fit me my 3 kids wife and dog, it was quiet while we were there and no complaints about anything, the front desk people were amazing and knowledgeable about local eateries and local places to explore and visit with the children, we had an amazing time just in general in alabama and would love to go again hopefully under better circumstances.”

“Hi this is Seligh Atwater’s, I stay sat may 25, 2025 in room 333 , when I first walk in the Candlewood suites, smell was wonderful very clean to the elevator to the room , room was very nice had a nice spell , Mrs Anita was very nice also she help me a lot was very patient this lady goes out her way to help with any problems cause I didn’t know how to work the stove LOL she took me in another room and show me how to work it! Thank you for having someone there with lots of patience for people like me thank you , we be come back to visit Montgomery Love it”

“As usual, we found HIE to be clean and comfortable for our overnight stay. The beds always provide us with a peaceful, restful night. Yes, their breakfast is among the highest rated for a quick hot bite before going on the road. Of course, we all know their cinnamon roll is WHY we stay their. Thank you for keeping your standards high for your overnight guest.”
“This place was amazing. I loved how they kept the buildings charm. The only thing was the housekeeper part. The number of pillows were consistent and one bed was missing a top sheet. We also waited a while to get additional pillows and sheets. Besides this, I thought it was a great location and a fun little spot.”
“The souvenir shop, TOURS OF MONTGOMERY is located right across the street from the now closed and deserted, BEN MOORE HOTEL (which should be re-opened for tours) ; a historical site located in the Centennial Hill area at the corner of High St. and S. Jackson St., just a block south of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s historic home in the 1960's. That entire area is full of civil rights and Montgomery history... Vernon's house, Hall Bros Barber. Shop (oldest in Montgomery- still operated by one of the Hall bros. who gives interesting "First hand" accounts of his encounters with Dr. MLK.). A must visit area for any tourist AND local!”

“I wanted to prepare for Squadron Officer School (SOS) and noticed the lack of photos of University Inn at Maxwell AFB, Alabama, so I'm sharing my experience to help future attendees.I stayed in building 679 on the 4th floor, and here's what I appreciated:- The kitchenette is well-equipped, so I didn't regret not bringing my mini rice cooker. They provide pots and pans.- The base exchange (BX) is just a 5-minute drive away, making it super convenient.- The room was spotlessly clean. Room service comes everyday - The walk-in closet is a nice touch, offering ample space for your belongings.- Location-wise, it's great - close to the fitness center, cafe, academic building, and more.- The room itself is spacious and comfortable.However, there was one downside:- The HVAC system was a bit noisy, which made it challenging to sleep at night. I tried to consider it as white noise, but it still affected my rest.Overall, University Inn is a solid place for SOS attendees, offering convenience and comfort. Just be prepared for some noise from the HVAC system.”

“We checked in on 9/20 and had the pleasure of dealing with Koronda at check in. She is a gem. She joked around with us and had us laughing. We checked in extremely tired from a long day of traveling and she made our evening joyful.
Then, we came down to the restaurant for dinner and we had the pleasure of being taken care of by Sylvia. She is also a gem. Excellent customer service and also a joy! She called each of us Sunshine but Sylvia and Koronda are pure sunshine.
Please take care of these ladies because we will be back on our travels because of them.”

“This is our favorite place to stay when in Montgomery. They are renovating the whole place - so things aren't perfect - but the room was clean, the pool was open and the staff was excellent. We will stay there again”

“Well it's not a pleasure trip and I'm like really sick and leaving an abused relationship but with also this person he's helping me get away and helping my daughter with two kids needed a car but so the state was nice and pleasant and the staff was just really really nice it's really nice and it's a nice little area this hope all this yeah I missed breakfast though I fell asleep again I don't know if they do breakfast but it's it's they were really really nice the the staff and owners or whoever's in charge here actually I'm fixing the book now again just for the night late check and I hope they help me”
