Great pool too take your kids. Lifeguards do a great job they also do swimming test before they just let you swim in the 6, 7 and 9 feet. How the lifeguards watch the pool is awesome they don’t miss a beat wish the kids could do a little splashing though but it’s a great pool to go swimming at. Never experienced anything like it all I have to say you will not only be watching your kids cause the lifeguards they have are on point they move fast my toddler ran off and jumped in the 4 feet by his self and the lady was right behind him to get him I didn’t know she was a lifeguard all I heard was whistles blowing

The black man who is the lifeguard is too aggressive. Other than that it's ok

For a free pool, who can complain? I give four stars just because it is very bare bones. Not a luxury experience, but for someone who doesn't have a pool it is a great option!

First time bringing my babies here, and they love it. The area is nice, and lifeguards are on duty. Nice shaded area to sit.

Gunter Pool is operated by Montgomery Parks and Recreation. Open 8:30-11:30 and 1-6 on weekdays, 1-6 Saturday, and 2-5 Sunday. Admission is free; swim suits are required.

There are 4 life guards always watching the guest in the pool. The pool has 2 awesome water slides to play on. It only cost $1 to swim. There is also a skate park for anyone to play on for free.The pool is large and always clean.

Ok yes the concrete can get hot. But it is summer time in the south. Yes the lifeguards do enforce the rules. But if you have younger kids they are not getting splashed by bigger ones. My grandson and I love this place. Thank you for a safe and fun place too cool off. And it's only $1.
