Been member since 1971, and the only time I had trouble was when they introduced new software capability, that sometimes needed a little more quality control testing and some times the online system acts like a self licking ice cream cone, losing sight of what the mission of the online customer is, Overall this is a good bank to handle my financial requirements even financed my 1978 VW convertible in 1998!

I GAVE 1 STAR BECAUSE I CAN NOT POST WITHOUT RATING BUT I REALLY FEEL LIKE MAX DESERVES A BIG FAT ZERO!!!! Max use to be the go to for banking needs! After 21 years, I must say for the past 5 years it is the WORST, rude attitudes and not friendly at all, long hold time and will not work with customers over fixable easy situation! Max have one worker name LINDA in the call center & she take her job way to serious! I would not recommend MAX CREDIT UNION TO NO ONE!!

This is absolutely the worst loan company I have ever seen! I have proven 5 times with my insuarance agent that I have full auto coverage the correct deductible and my lean is through Max. These are there requirements. Since I bought the car 8 months ago I receive weekly calls and letters from collection agencies that I owe them an extra $395 and if I don't pay my credit will be affected. For each month because they do not have proof of this.Everytime I call which is very long hold times There is nobody who can solve the problem! PLEASE NEVER USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE BEYOND BAD! They only approve loans for those with premium credit which is not the way most credit unions work. Unless you have a 720 Credit score don't even bother. They are also never open and flip staff constantly. Current auto loan holder.

I realize the drive thru is the only way to deposit as you have to make an appointment to go inside! However it's not acceptable having to wait in the drive thru 38 minutes with only one car in front of you!!!! Most people don't have the luxury of having an hour lunch break where lots of people use this time to run this simple errand!! MAX has changed over the years!! But for the worst!!!!

I have no idea how long my online banking has been done. No one will do anything. I finally wrote a letter to the Alabama Credit Union Administration to see if they would do something. This is ridiculous!

The customer service at MAX is world class. The employees always greet you with smiles and make you feel at home. They have member accounts that pay interest. How good is that, a checking account that pays me. They also have the best loan rates in town!
