Don't bother making a reservation at this location because they'll just give your rental car to someone else and/or close early before your reservation time. What's the point of taking reservations if you don't honor them?I made a res for 5pm on Christmas Eve---which is when my plane landed---and when I get there, there's no one at the Avis desk. An employee at the next car rental counter told me Avis had left for the day (the rental counter that employee was at was out of cars, and all the other rental counters were closed, so I was out of options).When I asked for help getting a taxi, a different employee said that Avis had given the last car they had available to some guy an hour before, at 4pm, and then left for the day. They allegedly close at 7pm...I get wanting to leave early for the holiday, but that doesn't mean you leave customers hanging out to dry. Now I'm stuck taking taxis/Ubers everywhere I go, spending more money than I wanted/planned.

Line moved pretty quick, car was clean. Overall a pretty good rental experience.

Need better instructions for renting battery cars. People don't understand #1 regenerative braking & benefits to range, don't understand #2 how to find charging stations from car navigation, don't understand #3 soft starts from complete stops, don't understand #4 fuel efficient routes, don't understand #5 moving vehicle away from charger when done for next person.Also not all your rental businesses have chargers..???... How can you not be able to charge at place of rental ?(

I usually rent from enterprise but I was out of town and this was the closest location for a rental. I booked my rental through the customer service line. Told them I wouldn’t make it to pick up the rental on Friday (original pick up day) they told me to just pick up Saturday once they open. Upon arrival a young lady greeted me with great customer service. Rental process seem quick although I wasn’t told many instructions than to return the vehicle on Sunday (instead if Saturday because it wasn’t picked up on Friday) and given the key to go walk and find the vehicle in wide spread parking lot. Once finding the car I inspected it only to find dirty clothes, shoes and kids toys in the trunk. The rental over all was fine. I arrive the following Sunday as told by the representative at 7:02pm. As I got to the window 2 individuals standing at the desk didn’t greet me just rolled eyes and said “we closed” I was simply returning rental. The woman Glenda was very unpleasant and unprofessional. Continuously rolled eyes as she returned the car. A day later I have a 93.60 charge on my credit card that no one can explain, after following all rules told to me. I asked for corporate she gave me “Scottie Parish” whom I’ve reached out to several times and left messages (3xs) with no return call indicating they don’t care about customers nor are they interested in making it right. I had no choice but to leave my experience here hoping no one else experiences such an awful services. Customer service from Glenda was very poor.

Probably the best Avis experience I’ve had anywhere. The folks at front desk, Ms Glenda Ross and another lady (whose name I forgot ?) always deliver premium quality customer service. I always look forward to renting a car with them.Thank you Avis!

Made a reservation with Avis, worst customer service ever. Once I got the car the low tire pressure notifications came on. I took a picture of it and took it back to the front desk to let the worker know that I didn't feel comfortable riding in a car that is not fully ok to drive. When I went back a man who said he works on the cars personally said to me there's nothing wrong just drive it he said that if I sat in the car too long that is why the tire pressure light turns on. How in the world does that work it’s not like I weigh a ton. When I asked for another car they initially did not want me to ask for another one. He kept on saying you are not understanding me as if I was incompetent of listening to him. The next car they were going to give me the lady said that the car had a crack in the windshield. How do they have so many cars that are not up to standard. I was treated to poorly. Since I am not from the area I wanted to be safe but I knew that in those cars I wouldn't. When I went up to another car company counter another lady who I never saw but her uniform from Avis told me to give her the paperwork back to void the contract while I was still trying to figure out what to do. She said we have other people waiting when there was no one there. She didn’t offer to help me all just wanted to end the reservation. Horrible experience I was never rude to them all I wanted was to have a safe car. If I could give them zero stars I would I definitely would never recommend.

Tuesday 11/22/2022 I arrived at the Dannelly Field Airport in Montgomery,AL to pick up my Hyundai- Elantra; Avis Rental car and found the external & interior upholstery dirty especially the backseat. I was very disappointed. I told the rental agent about it when I turned it in and she apologized for its condition. The condition of the vehicle was totally unacceptable. I'm very disappointed with Avis. ??

Excellent customer service and cars you’ll want to trade yours in for! I rented a Nissan that was brand new, literally with 5 miles when I drove off the lot.

I booked a car rental through Travelocity for tonight. I arrived at 5:30pm to pick up the rental and I walked up to two employees talking who did not even acknowledge me. After interrupting their conversation I showed the attendant my confirmation and she Informed me they have no cars available even though they clearly have a parking lot full of cars. I was told that my confirmation does nothing matter when it’s a third party reservation. I asked if anyone canceled any reservations because I saw all the cars available outside and she said no, not at this time. She then did not offer any other assistance or information that could help me find another rental option. I was given poor customer service at the desk then I had to call the third party on my own to cancel my reservation and found out that they could not do anything on their end until they confirmed with Avis that I did not in fact pickup a car. Unfortunately due to this situation I am still left without resolution or a refund for money paid toward this reservation. I highly do not recommend using this rental location. I also am dissatisfied With the customer service line for AVIS as it does not go directly to the location and is a recorded loop.

Please do NOT rent from here!! They will make you pay for damages that you didn't cause. If you do, make sure to check the car you rent very carefully for any damages/scratches before you sign anything (ours wasn't even cleaned) otherwise they will scam you.\ We now have to pay for damages that the previous renter did.\ It was kind of our fault for not checking carefully, but after a long flight with a newborn we just wanted to get a car but as it turns out you cannot trust anyone anymore. Shame on them for treating a military member on their family visit like this. Save yoursefl the trouble with this highly unprofessional company and pay a little more somewhere else.
