Mr. Anderson did a phenomenal job working on my 2012 Nissan Altima . I was able to get it the day after Labor Day and he had it fixed the very next day ! I came in for a thermostat replacement and he fixed it , but he also caught that my radiator was leaking and did a radiator replacement ! All this done in an extremely short time span , his communication was top tier , and he was able to make myself and my dad feel comfortable! If I ever had another issue with my vehicle I would definitely be back . Thank you Anderson Automotive for fixing my vehicle and having me safe on the road again !

Updating again because I said he stopped responding to calls and texts - He did, but ended up reaching out a few days later when it was convenient for him.Since he couldn't fix the car he found another mechanic and gave me a portion (not all) of the money Carshield paid him to give to the new mechanic.We still owe another $800 on top of $1700 paid in rental fees for the 3 months my car was in and out the shop plus lost wages when I could no longer afford to keep the rental.Updated review:If zero stars was an option, George would have received that.My vehicle is completely inoperable after receiving it back 4 different times from Anderson Automotive. Came in for a minor oil leak now my car won't hold oil more than a dayTo make matters worse, he's on record saying he drove close to 300 miles in my car to take someone on a date before he even repaired the issue.Almost 2 months and 3 deductibles later he's saying "I don't know what's wrong because I've done everything I know to do."He claimed he was having my car towed to another shop for a better mechanic to fix it. To date my car has not been towed or repaired and he's no longer responding to calls and texts.

My son drives a Hyundai Sonata and yesterday his oil light was blinking, the hood of the car wouldn't open and he had to be at work by 1:30. He'd worked on the hood with no success until 3am so I rode with him as he went from mechanic to auto shop to mechanic looking for someone who could help him before his engine locked up. Everyone he went to was too busy or couldn't help until we got to Troy hwy and Anderson Automotive. On a whim he turned into the shop and ten minutes later the hood was opened. The mechanic, George Anderson was so nice and professional. Not only was he really nice he also took the time to watch the video my son had found on YouTube showing what to do if a Sonata hood won't open (none of the others would watch it) by watching the video he opened the hood without damaging the car. If you're looking for a mechanic you should think about going to his shop...

Me & my boyfriend (17 yrs old) we’re on our way to Panama City Beach, Florida for vacation & 11 hrs into our 14 hr trip our waterpump started leaking & gasket blew due to hitting something in the road. We literally had abt 5 mental breakdowns until we were able to get ahold of George & he told us to bring it in right away. As soon as we got there he was already outside looking at it before we even got out the car. He was very kind & very trustworthy. He made sure our vehicle was drivable & safe with 0 leaks before sending us back off on our trip. After fixing our vehicle at a reasonable price they offered us jamaican food from their food truck to make sure we ate something & then we made our way back onto the road. We would most definitely recommend this place, for very good service & for very good people. *he even stayed an hour & a half later than closing just for our saftey

Came in because oil was leaking from my car. George diagnosed the problem and cleaned the oil for free. He told me to return the following week and if the oil was back, that would confirm his diagnosis.My car ended up breaking down before I could schedule the repairs. He came to where my family broke down on the side of the road, handled everything with my warranty company, and detailed the car.We will definitely be using him again

If you’re looking for a mechanic !! DO NOT AND I MEAN DO NOT GO TO George Anderson OR Anderson Automotive IDK IF HE PURPOSEFULLY DIDNT BOLT MY ENGINE AND OTHER PARTS DOWN or if he misplaced my nuts bolts and screws while he had it in his garage with little to no light. I got my vehicle back in March and every week it’s been something new, My power steering pump lines flew off and all my fluid leaked out and I called him and he told me $400 !! I had a trusted family friend look at it and he bolted the lines back down and didn’t charge me anything. I just don’t like that it sounds and feels like this man tried to take advantage of me and my spouse. My oil filter cover also was not bolted down, then my vehicle started squeaking and my serpentine belt broke, come to find out the NEW alternator he had us purchase was not installed properly either??♀️ like I said idk if it was purposeful or not but be aware. Just because people have shops and certifications don’t mean they gonna do you right.To all business owners !!! Treat customers fairly !!!! Treat people with integrity!!! Stop trying to scam people and get over !!!

I came in mid day on a Saturday of a holiday weekend, after breaking down on the way back through Montgomery from the beach. George was able to diagnose and fix my issue that day so that I was not stranded - even going above and beyond and going all over town to get the necessary parts. Not sure what I would have done that day without his kindness and work ethic! He stayed late to make sure I was good to go. (Bonus - the Jamaican food truck right next door is amazing.)

Our experience with this place was amazing! We were in a real bind: our check engine light came on as we were driving across the country and we were just stopping in Montgomery for the night. Not only did he make time to fit us in despite the late hour, but he was incredibly knowledgeable and was able to diagnose and correct the problem in less than an hour to get us back on the road.
