joey has worked on my 2005 ford ranger several times. he does good quality work at a reasonable price. i would recommend him and i actually do recommend him all the time. my ranger runs great and has over 300000 miles and still going. great service at a reasonable price just can't beat it. jeff k.

I brought my Toyota truck to Alatune,(he actually came and towed it). I was told by another shop it was a head gasket or a bad valve costing approx $2500. Anyway Joey at Alatune said he could fix it but would check it out first. Next time I spoke to him he said the truck was fixed and it was just a loose wire on number 4 plug. Bill was $300. I was ecstatic. It runs like new and I'm happy as a lark. I highly recommend Alatune for honest and reliable service at a reasonable price.

For once he finally got my vehicle in and out quickly. I guess the head gasket job went well but now my jeep is rattling and smelling very hot. Not my first experience there but it will be my last.

I just got my car back and I swear It runs better than It has in quite a while. It’s like Joey repaired it and did something extra Without telling me.Lol If you’re like me and like doing business with people that you can actually talk to like friends than Joey is your mechanic. Although it took a bit longer than I expected it was well worth It, I’ll drive my car without worrying about breaking down and the wait made me appreciate my car a bit more.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I have to start by saying that Joey and Cory at Ala-Tune are amazing to work with. Till now, I have always taken my F350 to Ford for any work. I was having a few issues with my truck, and Ford couldn't get me in for a few weeks. After reading the positive reviews for Ala-Tune, I figured I would give them a try. Joey got me in right away. He diagnosed the problems quickly and contacted me with a quote prior to starting any work. He also kept me updated throughout the repair process.Other reviewers mention Joey's fair prices. I can't imagine how much I would have paid the dealership for the same repairs. My truck drives like new again. From now on, Ala-Tune will always be my first stop.

The owner Joey is honest and treats each customer as if he's known you all your life. He is his staff are very busy but you'd never know it because they take time to explain the repair and how much it will cost before turning a wrench. If something changes I'm sure he/they would let you know before performing additional work, but this has never happened to me... but it's possible. He gets the work done when he says he will. His prices are very reasonable and he stands behind his work. HIGHLY Recommended!!

I've been going to Ala-Tune since 2015. It is a different experience than going to a dealers service center. At Ala-Tune, I was able to talk directly with the mechanic. I was very impressed with Joey Bocchino, the proprietor and main mechanic. He even invited me into the shop to inspect the work he himself was performing on the vehicle, the worn out parts that needed replacing and other issues he found. Recently I brought it in to solve a parasitic drain issue. I parked it on his lot. The battery didn't drain over the weekend so the intermittent parasite drain was going to be difficult to find. I took the car home and over the next few weeks, I attempted to find the source of battery drain via various tests. Joey contacted me curious if I found a repeatable event. I didn't and the drain on the battery rarely occurred again. I was impressed with Joey's follow up and curiosity as to the root cause. The first time I brought in my 2003 Acura MDX in 2015 I had 241,000 miles. I needed to replace the timing belt and drive belt. Also to figure out why the a/c unit was not blowing air and why the driver side window was not working. Also I asked them to change the transmission fluid, differential fluid & cabin air filter. Finally to check the motor mounts and axle that was leaking fluid. Joey took his time explaining what work needed to be done and what work did not need to be done. He provided me an estimate up front for all the work to be performed. I asked him to check the motor mounts because the local Acura dealer told me my motor mounts were broken and I needed new motor mounts at a cost of about $375.00. Joey inspected the mounts and discovered they were not broken and saved me $375.00. He even recharged the a/c unit for free. He was concerned that after he installed a new blower for the cabin as I requested that I would not experience optimal comfort due to moisture that may have accumulated in the a/c unit. So, rather than call me and ask for this additional service and cost, he simply recharged the a/c system with freon at no charge. The overall price was fair and reasonable and saved me about 25% of what I would have spent at the local Acura dealership.
