Nice parking lot, has access to the creek that runs through it. All the different designs on the trees are pretty interesting to see. Fields/pavilions and bathrooms were pretty clean. Recommend this park. Hope you like squirrels.

Great stop to enjoy nature, art, and stretch legs from a long drive. Not far from the interstate, this park has a nice walking trail, picnic tables, clean restrooms, and fabulous tree carvings. There is also a small shallow creek that several children were enjoying.

A great place to spend an afternoon! Plenty of space to roam, take a walk, or enjoy a picnic.
Toilets: I learned that the bathrooms lock automatically at a certain time of day, so beware of going too late/early and them being closed. A little girl got stuck in there with her dad waiting for her outside, and bless her heart I know that was so scary! If that happens, there's a place to the side of the door that you can waive your hand to temporarily unlock the door, but if you don't know that it can be a nerve-racking experience.

Sure Montevallo may be a small town and not that big but if there is one place worth seeing, it is the Orr Park for sure. Trees that look like they are designed by a true artist, a playground for the kids to play, even you can swim in a certain area of water too!
Atmosphere: This is what a park truly should be, benches and tables for picnics and eating, many trails meant for walking and even riding your own bike too. It's no wonder this is the best time of the year to come out to the park and enjoy the scenery.
Amenities: There are restrooms around, a soccer field in case people were interested in playing the sport, there are a couple swings near the entrance of the park too and so much more.
General Comments: Since people might be coming here, I wouldn't want them to see this park blind and seeing this review and the photos and videos, they will have an idea of what to expect at this lovely location ?.
Playground: Kids can enjoy their fun while at the park.
Toilets: In case you forgot to go at home or need to go, there is always one.
Dog-friendliness: Many people can walk their furry friends!
Picnic area: Seats and tables designed for eating your food in a comfortable manner.
