They care. Please consider donating to your local shelter or order a bag of food on Amazon or chewy and have it shipped. Every little bit helps.Adopt a pet today. Fosters needed. Please spay or neuter your pet. Overcrowding spreads disease. Remember your tax deductible donations.*update 3/5/23*I have never seen a group work so hard to save as many animals as possible. Please consider volunteering, donating, and making sure the local government stands behind them.

Everyone at the site was polite and helpful.. thru were very informative about the help and assistance of shelter animals, and even gave the two kittens we had free rabies shots while there.. the facility is just outside of Monroeville proper, and the city's animal control makes regular check ins(they were present when we stopped in), and gave us the vet at the Pet Clinics name and number for assistance with health visits..

We visited the shelter today to check on the adoption process and bring the dogs snacks. The shelter director met us outside; she was friendly yet business-like, and showed genuine care for her wards as she personally knew every animal on the property. The animals all seemed as healthy as could be, altho the horribly overcrowded conditions force dozens of animals to be kept in outdoor kennels. I hope some of the taxes collected from the purchase of our home and the $1000's in building materials we bought here in Monroeville trickle their way down thru the Conservative coffers to the MCAS ASAP.Overall, the Monroe County Animal Shelter was LESS depressing than expected.DONATE TO THE LOCAL SHELTER
