Was driving in to help with hurricane recovery and really needed a starlink. Not only did they have it in stock but locked it up after i paid for it so I didn't make the two hour drive to find out it had been sold out from under me. REALLY REALLY appreciate the service.

Only go here when I have to. If I can wait for online delivery I will. Good products but staff friendliness is hit or miss. Few good polite people but most are short or could care less.

Bought a dinghy here awhile ago, great deal etc very nice. I lost the receipt and couldn't register it.
They went through so much hassle to dig up the transaction and print me a new one, even sending me an electronic copy. It wasn't even their issue, *I* lost it lol!

I really like west Marine, you can get almost anything you need for your boat there. It has always been pricey, and still is. But, the store staff is very knowledgeable, and helped me greatly. I will continue to use them, as I like quality parts for our ocean going vessel.
