Had surgery, dropped of my prescription. They told me come back after lunch, came back after lunch and they said come back after 4. Went back after 4 and they finally tell me they don't have it in stock. This was for someone right out of surgery and they didn't even have the courtesy to tell me after I came to pick it up the first time. Totally unprofessional place. At this point I can't even get what I'm required to take today because their disorganization at Walgreens. Don't get your prescriptions here, you may end up in a tough situation after surgery.

Pharmacy tech couldn't have been any ruder. I've not had terrible experiences there, but after the way Andrew (claimed to be the pharmacy manager) treated me there today I will not be back. I transferred my prescription while still in line. The store employees are nice, just not the pharmacy.

Worst pharmacy in Mobile. The pharmacists are arrogant, and the techs are horribly understaffed. I have contacted corporate in the past, and was promised a follow up with management. What a load of crap. My husband and I tested positive for Covid this morning. Sadly, my husband told his care provider to call in the prescription for Paxlovid to Walgreens. Since this Walgreens is a 1/4 mile from our house, and we feel like shit, I asked my provider to send my RX to this dump too. They have had this RX since 10AM!! After calling numerous times, and never being able to speak to a human, we gave up. But the recorded message we listened to at 4pm informed us that my husband's meds were out of stock, and there was an insurance problem causing a delay in filling mine. Another load of Walgreens crap. I called my doc, and explained the sloppy management of our prescriptions. She agreed, and called it into the Publix pharmacy on Florida St. In stock and no insurance issues, ready in 45 minutes. This medication is supposed to be started asap. The Walgreens at 1320 Government St does NOT care about your health. It is plain nasty. I wouldn't fill my dog's meds there. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else. You will be treated with respect, get your meds in a timely fashion and won't be lied to.

If I could give this location less than 0 stars I would. You wait for over 15 minutes for someone to answer. No one in the entire pharmacy unit is competent, whatsoever. Nor is anyone friendly or remotely interested in pretending to enjoy their job. They let me go over a week without a medication, claiming it was out of stock and have done so many times. I usually use independently owned pharmacies since I was a licensed technician in one before, but since moving I used bigger chains for easier access. However, this Walgreens did it in for me. Never again.

The service was terrible it was about six technicians and a pharmacist all they doing was playing joking around. Took my 83 year Mother’s ER prescriptions there @ around about 11am still didn’t have it ready before they closed now my mother has to suffer through her illness longer due the lack of concern of this pharmacy I will never use them again. And I will be contacting management. They were also are very unprofessional!

Do not fill your prescriptions here unless you wanted to be spoken to like a dog. I understand being understaffed, but the day I tried to fill a prescription they had FIVE people behind the counter and were still incredibly rude. I had to come inside and sit and wait with mother who had been released from the hospital and hour before. I have NEVER encountered the level of rudeness at a drug store that the woman working the window managed to achieve.

Overall a solid location but not the cleanest and not the lowest prices. Still would recommend for a quick stop for a snack or drink.

This pharmacy is the WORST!!!! The pharmacist is so rude and so is the staff. They put you on hold for forever and hang up on you. If you’re looking for a pharmacy, I’d suggest a different one.

Why do all Walgreens pharmacies suck? How hard is it to fill an Rx in a timely fashion and be pleasant while doing it ?

This location is horrendously understaffed. It was bad enough a few years ago when the Rite Aid across the street closed down, now the CVS on Govt/Broad has closed down. At this point you may need to clear hours from your schedule if you need a refill or just have a question. FORGET about calling; you will not get through, and if you go in person wear comfortable shoes because you will be in line a LONG time. Then expect rude treatment because the too-small pharmacy team is clearly overwhelmed. I don't blame them for being stressed but at the same time it's stressful being worried about having your family's medical needs in question and having a frowning face snapping at you and showing no empathy whatsoever.By the way, the influx of prescription patients from the other stores shutting down also means there are more people buying snacks, household goods etc., and there's another long line, because there is almost always just one cashier (despite multiple registers).YOU'RE GETTING TONS OF BUSINESS, STORE OWNER. CONSIDER OFFERING A DECENT-ENOUGH WAGE TO ATTRACT SOME APPLICANTS FOR POSITIONS THAT NEED FILLING.
